Surgery tomorrow - gastric sleeve

Is it normal to feel jumpy as a cat at a frat party the day before surgery? I haven't had a surgical procedure since I was six months old, so this is an entirely new experience for me. The EGD was uneventful - I hadn't even been aware they were done when my mom tried to give me some water. I have trust in the surgical team and the hospital, I am just nervous about the idea of surgery as a whole. Anyone else nervous before their procedure?

It went well - I slept the entire day of my surgery _ think I was only awake for about an hour or so, mainly so the nurses could check my vitals. I am two weeks out now and was cleared for pureed foods today (thank g-d; I am sick of protein shakes and sweet yogurts). I have also been cleared for all activity, so its time to get back to the gym. :-) I am down 17 pounds since my surgery, 33 pounds since I started the whole thing six months ago.
