Alright, so volunteers for helping mod this group have stepped forward. And they are:

1. If anyone else wants to volunteer, feel free to speak up. As I stated before, day-to-day duties are extremely light -- just keeping the stickies relevant and up to date (and in the beginning, helping clean them up and write new ones), and keeping the spam/trolls out (which has been a non-issue, historically, so not likely to take much work). The mods are as much to keep an administrative contact for the group active at all times and not let the leadership completely die again as they are for actual administration stuff.
2. If anyone has any objections to the above listed being mods, speak now, or forever hold your peace (okay, not really forever -- I'd have no problem removing a mod if they were running counter to the goals of the group, though I doubt that'd ever be a problem with these guys
).
I'll take lack of negative responses as approval and will promote them after a reasonable amount of time has passed (probably a couple of days). If you do object to someone being a mod, please be clear in your reasons for why (and if you don't feel comfortable stating in the thread, feel free to PM me).
