I'm happy with my day because I made wise choices at my work Christmas lunch and got the veggie plate and because I made it to the gym again. I didn't get quite enough protein, but tomorrow is another day.

@Melissa--indirectly I know it is the flu. Kiddos tested positive for Flu and Strep. My symptoms are like his minus sore throat. With my asthma---I am recovering much slower than him and I feel like my spirit has been sucked out of me.0 -

@Laughter---I am pretty sure that I am no longer contagious, however my energy level is still drained. I certainly would not say that I am back to 80% of normal "good". Today the hubby finally was taken over by the germs, Dr says Flu...no surprise. I am hopeful that having it once will mean we will all be stronger immune if we encounter it again. A horrible little bug. With hubby on day 1 of contagious, we will be opting out of family gatherings --I guess that means no travel and some extra rest days...but it stinks to miss out.0 -

R_Queenie - You poor thing. I feel sorry for the entire household. I would hate to miss out on the family gatherings too, but you all certainly need that rest. Try to take it very easy in the coming days so that you all will recover as quickly as possible. Hang in there.0
