Just wondering how everyone else logs their 30 day shred on MFP?! Thanks!

I had originally worn a heart rate monitor (chest strap) and calculated my calories burned and created my own exercise out of it. For 30 minutes I burned roughly 304 calories (5'3" & 165 lbs). A lot of people log it as circuit training general which is about 288 calories per 30 minutes. For me it doesn't really matter because I try NOT to eat the calories back from what I burned. But that's a personal preference. :)

I use a heart rate monitor, but before I had one I logged 20 minutes of circuit training since technically the "work out" portion is only 18-20 minutes, "moderate stretching" is 5-10 minutes).

I log it as circuit training
  • i tried to log it individually and ended up with 120 calories burned
  • I too was wondering the same thing. Surely more than 120 calories is burned??? My body is definately telling me its been working hard for 20 mins. Only on day 2 but loving the feeling - determined to get to the end. Sx
