I've been struggling a bit. Hit my lowest point at 175 back in December but between various issues, oversleeping, not enough exercise, and a bit too much drinking, came back up some and kinda been on a bit of a plateau. Areas for improvement; I've been trying to break bad habits, mainly getting into junk food on weekends. What to do as a group; I like the exercise challenge idea. I may have to get onto that soon. I'd be interested in seeing some sort of discussion for those of us with depression, binging, or substance abuse issues.0 -

I haven't weighed in for the week yet but congrats to you bunch of losers!! Y'all are doing great!!0
-
January 1 - 68.3 kg (150.6lbs)
January 2 - 68.2 kg (150.4lbs)
.1kg (.2lbs) loss.
Not really happy with the weight, but I'm happy with what I'm seeing! Better posture and less bloating. I'll be posting my Day 10 pictures on my blog for my 30 Day Challenge tonight. I'll see if there's any difference then. Trying to keep positive with this depressing number...
Cheers,

Jan 1: 159.8
Jan 8: 157
2.8lbs lost so far! I've been diligently tracking my calories and drinking half to 3/4 of a gallon of water per day. Exercise is limited until I go back to school due to not having a gym where my folks live. But i did decide to participate in a 5k this spring! Having a goal in mind will help me get to the gym.0 -
1.5 pounds lost this week. I know I can do better. I had a few slip ups with friends coming in to town and going out to eat.0

I'll be weighing in tomorrow morning, lol! I forgot it would be today0

@tanashai You are fine. The weigh-in covers a week time period so that folks who always weigh-in on a certain day, can continue to weigh-in on that same day.
This week's weigh-in is anytime today, Jan 8th, through Wednesday, Jan 14th.

1.4 this week. I'll take it. I have a metabolic disorder, so weight loss is typically slow for me. So, I was thrilled with this!0

Really enjoying reading everyone's progress. Good work people
Challenge starting weight: 166.6lbs
Weigh in 8th Jan: 164.9
Total loss: 1.7 lbs.
Now I expect to lose a few lbs quickly because they are Christmas weight! After the first two weeks I think it'll get slightly harder. Still though, any loss is a result0 -
Starting weight Jan 1st: 173lbs
Weight 9th Jan: 169lbs
Finally got rid of all that Christmas binge water weight c:0 -
I started on the 1st at 196 and today the 9th, I am 188.6. Which is great right? Well, I think it is mostly because I cut out soda. I mean, yes I have changed my diet choices immensely, but I think it is just because I have been drinking all water. I drink upwards of 96oz of water a day. I went out yesterday and bought some workout DVD's to do in my living room. I am not a fan of the gym, and it is just too dang cold to do out and walk outside. I do have a question for y'all though. How many pounds did it take to lose before you actually saw results on your body? I can see the scale going down which is great, however I just wanted to know how long until I can notice results in my clothes. I know it is different for everyone, so I just want personal experiences. Thanks0

Challenge start weight: 194.2
Today: 194.7
Change: +.5
Well, this stinks. I weighed in today and not only did I not lose anything, I'm up a half pound. I started a new clean eating meal plan on Saturday and I have been in the gym 6 out of 7 days this week so I don't understand it. Hopefully next week will be different. The meal plan was fairly low calorie this week and will increase next week so maybe the increase in calories will help.0 -
Challenge Starting Weight: 156.6
Current Weight: 156.0
Change: -0.6
Easter goal: 143
Ultimate goal: 125-130
I thought I'd lose more than .6 the first week so I am a bit disappointed!! However, I'm trying to be patient and positive!
On the brighter side - I stayed within my calorie range for the week; met all of my veggie, fruit and water requirements each day; and I got in all of my cardio and strength training workouts this week.
Goal for next week: Hopefully a loss of 1-2 pounds.0 -
Jan. 1 - 150
Jan. 9 - 146.4
I have had a horrible cold since Jan. 2nd. So this is diet alone. I know it won't be typical, as I seem to gain weight when I start exercising. But that could also be that I eat more when doing so. Will have to make some changes.0 -

Also I can't seem to be able to put it in on the spreadsheet. Hmmm.0 -
Jan 1-146
Jan 8-145.4
I've been having a weird weight week; January 2 I was down to like 142 and then it crawled back up again. I'm just glad to record a loss, lol!
This week: Drink more water! I've been really lax about that and it's showing.0 -

January 1 - 128.6
January 7 - 128.8
I'm calling this a win because it could have been water weight, where I stood on the scale, etc. etc.
Way to go on the losses!0 -
January 1 - 140
January 9 - 137
3 lbs lost. I'm struggling a bit with snacking in between meals - I think I just need to wait at least 20 minutes after a snack to see if I'm still hungry, because if I don't then I think I didn't eat enough.
Good job everyone with your progress so far!0 -
just joining in today!
I weighed 236 at my doctors apt on Dec 31st. So here are my stats so far:
Jan 1st- 236
jan 9th- 233
