Happy Monday everyone! Did lose a 1/2 pound but I am getting back to tracking so I should lose some more this week. Love the workout!0
-
Challenge completed x3 and a 2.5 mile walk.
Chris - that 3rd set was a killer but I did it!0 -
Kathy - You nailed it! Cool stuff!! I'll be doing it tonight...thanks for the warning...
Chris0 -
Challenge x3 and my 10k steps completed. Boy can I tell that it's been awhile since I've really pushed myself. Breathing pretty hard and sweaty by that 3rd set.
Way to crush it Kathy!
Lynnette0 -
You killed it, Lynnette!! Excellent! Tomorrow will be just as much fun!
Challenge X2 and 500 steps between each exercise. I ended up with 15,500 steps today! I did Cathe's Back, Biceps and Shoulders yesterday...all weights...HiiT...I started cryin' about 2:00 this afternoon. I was seriously weeping doing the JJs and the pushups tonight!
My eating was good! No junk or trigger food...five days in a row!
Happy!

Way to get those steps in Chris. I think I may up my goal to 15k for the winter.
Brought lots of salad and fruit to work today. Crossing my fingers that it keeps me away from that vending machine.
Lynnette0 -
Sounds like you are all getting in some workouts and eating better. I walked alot today. But did not get much else done.
Kathy love the inspirational words. And they are so true. One day at a time and you will make that birthday goal.
Lynette the longer you stay away from the machine the easier it will be. You can do it.
Chris great going. I still think I might get me one of those fit things.Talked to Finkerbell. She is having another baby. Five days and no trigger foods!
That is fantastic!
I am staying under or almost under my calories. Dropping a bit of weight and logging daily. To me that is success.
Shelley0 -
No challenge today...90 minute tennis practice this evening.
My stamina is still not quite there yet. Will try to double up on the challenge tomorrow.
Chris - you're killing the steps.
Lynette - I'm in the office tomorrow and have packed my breakfast, lunch & snacks. We can stay away from those dreaded vending machines!
Shelley - you are so right...logging again has really helped me...so far.
Goodnight everyone and have a good Wednesday.

Thanks, ladies!
Got the challenge done twice and 15,777 steps. I'm happy! Daughter and I have the gym tomorrow. Our trainer broke her big toe Sunday or Monday, so our Monday session was cancelled. We are scheduled for tomorrow. My steps won't be a high...they never are when we hit the gym. I'm still sore from Cathe's workout!! I think I'll do it again Thursday or Friday...
Yes, we must log everything...I'm so glad our vending machine is on the 6th floor and I work on the 4th!
Have a great Wednesday, everyone.

Didn't track anything yesterday but it was a light day. Today I packed fruit salad and green salad for the office.0

Nice job Shelley!
Kathy I stayed away from the junky food one but did hit the sandwich machine for a croissant scrambler. Needed some protein to boost me around that 1 o'clock slump.
Chris sometimes I do walk to the machine in the back of our bldg. or the one upstairs. Usually someone stops me to BS and I end up forgetting to go to that machine, lol. Sometimers does come in handy in those circumstances.
Challenge x2 and my 10k steps are completed. Depending on the weather I may hit the gym tomorrow for the Extreme 30 class.

Good job, Lynette.
You too, Clara.
We did everything but the JJs for an hour and 15 minutes at the gym tonight...I'm jello! Got 11,000 steps done.
Work was one of those day where I input the same thing over and over and over again. I had 14 pages...I got 10 of them done...zzzzzz. I'd have to get up and walk around or I was going to fall asleep, face down on my keyboard...then I would end up with qwert...\][poiuy dented into my forehead and ty-gh-bn down my nose. The project is almost done.
My food was great, my exercises done and my steps are in! A good Wednesday!
I hope you all have a terrific Thursday!

Kathy you and I must log. One step at a time and I know it will help us.
Thanks Lynette. I have managed to only look at our vending machine. But today someone brought in doughnuts. I did not eat them. But then brownies came in during the afternoon. Sadly I had one. But stayed in my calories.
Clara and Chris great job with the food. Chris you killed those steps.
I had a rough day. I have a bad cold. So I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes. Yep, done.
Hugs to you all and goodnight everyone.

Wednesday was not productive...but it was long. Left the house for the office at 5:00 am and didn't get home until after 8:00 pm. Work and a stranded niece who needed a ride home. It took me almost 2 hours to travel 60 miles...Atlanta traffic. That's why I love my teleworking days.
Speaking of telework...it is 12 degrees this morning...so glad I could walk to the other side of the house to my office.
I will be working out inside today.
Happy Thursday!0 -
Brrrrr Kathy! Glad you have a plan. Hope your niece does not get stranded today. I like the idea of working from home. Though I know it would be harder to not over eat. Focus.
Shelley0 -
Wow, Kathy, I had no idea it got so cold in the Atlanta area!
I'll stop complaining about my Houston weather. 29 degrees right now.
working split shift today so planning to lift weights during the mid day break.
Shelley, hope you feel better!0 -
Kathy we are freezing our tushies off up here in PA also. Last I looked it was 6 with a -22 windchill. Not walk friendly weather for me, lol. I couldn't imagine being in traffic like that daily. Road rage would get me for sure.
Just under 10k steps right now but going to get some in after this post. Also doing challenge x2 with some abs.
Stay warm ladies
Lynnette

Great job ladies. Let's all try to stay warm. Feeling a little better today. Worked on training the concept of "ALICE" to the court ladies today. I hope that some of you have had training in it. More about ALICE later.
Stayed in my calorie goal today. Just enjoying a book now. Have fun.

Our workout at the gym yesterday was really great! I'm sore today and I think tomorrow I will be sorer!! DD is really sore. Our trainer modifies a lot of exercises for me because of different body issues and she works DD harder...poor kid!
Today was my Cheat Day and my No Exercise Day!! I have been under my calorie goal and exercised for seven straight days. I had to do it. Tomorrow is all planned out. This will work out.
I get Bean tomorrow at 10:30 and my DH is off so...hopefully, we'll get to walk at the school if everyone over there leaves before dark!
I hope you all stay warm and have a great Friday...81Days...retirement application is in! dun...dun...dun...

hope waiting for plumber, have the day off. Will be logging my food and eating a big salad!0

Playing a little catch up. I did Thursday & Friday challenges x1 only. Going to my godson's basketball game in the morning. It's fun to watch 7 year olds play.0
-
Bravo Chris, applauding. Pom poms up and cheering.
Plumber! Clara watch that you do not look into the dreaded crack!
Kathy sounds like a fun and productive day.
Got nothing done! Worked on my aquarium lighting. It was not working. Then put my little Mandi in the small tank. The angel was still picking on her. Guess she was not totally healed. She can just stay in the small tank for a long long time now. Tomorrow we are saying goodbye to Whiskers. He is old and tired. And having alot of issues. He has been a great companion. So I am just not counting tomorrow. Going to spend time with hubby, a box of milk duds and a movie. And if the weather is good enough a long walk with the boys. Speaking of the boys. Hubby found Coopers toe nail. He caught it on the doors weather stripping we figure. He will forever be without that one.
Off to bed now. You all have a great Saturday.
Shelley0 -
Good catch up job, Kathy!
I did Thursday's challenge today instead of Friday's. I did it through twice with a bunch of steps. Made my 15,000 step goal. We couldn't take Bean to the school...too many cars still there after the sun went down. Tomorrow I'll go to the gym w/the kids and then talk them into leaving Bean w/us for a walk.
Had one of the payroll techs tell the rest of us that she was giving us fair warning that she was retiring April 1, 2016 ...16 months from now! She went on and on about how the place was going to go to the dogs when she leaves because NOBODY can do her job like she can because it's soooo hard!! And she said she was tired...she's 10 years younger than I am and she's a whiner! We have a new payroll clerk who is learning both payrolls and she laughed and said my payroll (for teachers) was so much more complicated than the other tech's payroll for classified employees. That made my day. That clerk is the only one who knows I'm retiring in 80 days because I wanted her to know my position would open. She's really smart and other departments are trying to lure her away. It was so funny today!!
Well, my friends...I hope you have a lovely Saturday, and I'll be back later!

I volunteered to be a substitute in our tennis match today. Our captain had an emergency. This was unexpected but I love to play so now I just need to get prepared mentally as I will not be playing with my regular doubles partner. Right now it's 23 here in Atlanta so I've got to layer up.
I'm happy to get the exercise today. I will report back later. Enjoy your day.
Kathy0 -
Good luck Kathy!

Got 2.86 miles done with DH and Bean then just finished 4.55 miles w/DD. Steps so far...18,139. I must go shopping in a few minutes...after my feet quit cryin'. I'll be back later to let you know how the rest of my day goes.
Chris0 -
Paid bills...went to Target...that is all!
Chris0 -
My team won our match yesterday. We are now tied for 1st with a very good chance of making the playoffs. Unfortunately my partner and I lost our match in a third set tiebreaker 9-11. We fought hard but fell short. I'm headed to the courts this afternoon with my regular partner to get some practice in today.
I will also complete Sat challenge.
Chris - over 7 miles (*) Your are amazing! I've got to step it up...no pun intended!0
