Hey ya'll! Hoping you've had a great first week! Just remember it's Friday, time for the weekend, so remember to stay on track, don't indulge. Have what you want, when you want it, but have it in MODERATION...A helpful tool for me is to look it up and see the nutritional content to determine if it's worth it to me. Gonna be boozing it up this weekend? OK fine, just remember, in moderation...try alternating your alcohol with a glass of water, or workout an extra 30 minutes to have that extra glass. Have you ever measured and weighed your booze? If you don't have a food scale, I would highly recommend one. I love mine! Weighing a glass of wine can be so utterly annoying, but it really puts things into perspective...

Just remember you're awesome, and we will all reach our goals, together, on an individual basis...Look in the mirror and smile, because you have gotten where you came from with a simple decision to be healthier...

    Great post. Very encouraging. I've sworn off alcohol until St. Patty's, I indulged a bit too much in December, so January will be a no indulge month (alcohol and sweets). I will miss my wine and my Kahlua but I can and will do it. Darrell and I had healthy smoothies last night in champagne glasses.
