    Hey all!

Today I went out on a verrry long, slow run, *despite* t.o.m. I thought once to make it shorter, but this is a rare month when I wasn't feeling so bad, plus DH is leaving later this week and I want to milk every little bit out of this week before he goes. Also it was beautiful t-shirt weather, so it was like "duh"! I definitely feel like this heart rate training running is conditioning my body (the joints and tendons, etc). It's still just pretty amazing to go for a long run and never get hungry or thirsty or feel out of energy. I felt like I could've run for hours more (except for the desperate need to get to a restroom, b/c t.o.m. doesn't care about running :| ).

Hope it's a good one for all y'all!

Today I did ABC 1 workout again. Did more burpees then last time (yeah!) . Didn't want to work out. But thought I wouldn't have anything to report here, so I got up off my butt and did it anyway. Hope everyone has a great week!

BTW I totally agree with the crock pot! My favorite way to cook. I even like to put potatoes in a dry (or almost dry) crock pot all day and have baked potatoes! My all time favorite place to get recipes is skinnytaste.com That is where I got my new favorite chicken taco chilli. I'm not a real big beans fan, but I love it in this. I make a big batch and freeze half of it to take out when I don't even have time to do the crock pot. I just wished my kids would eat it!

Sherry that's awesome about your run! Especially being TOM, which I know sometimes totally wipes you out.

Nice workout Jen! I'll have to check out skinnytaste.com - I'm pretty sure a friend of mine gets a lot of recipes from there too.

I didn't want to do my workout either today, but finally got myself up and it felt good once I got going. My homework from Jason was to get on the bike (which is on a trainer in my living room, so I have no excuses) & some floor hip exercises (clam shells, etc.). His suggestion was to alternate 10 minutes on the bike with each set of floor exercises, but I had a feeling once I got off the bike I wasn't getting back on again so I did the bike first then got on the floor.
