So just mix in the stuff to the cup of joe? or do you have to blend it?

Use an immersion blender, a bullet, blender, etc. It mixes a lot better. If you don't have any of those, put it all in a covered jar and mix like your making butter. Its an acquired taste - I will have 1 cup and my next cup is just coffee and butter, still mixed the same though.

Enjoying my BPC as we speak... :-)

Once you've decided that this is a beverage for you, here's a hack to make it SOOOOOO much easier to prepare in the morning (courtesy of Kiramaniac): http://imgur.com/a/YYLwF

Triciawebb78, get yourself a blender for sure!!

BPC is my key for following a LCHF woe. It was my first step last September and the impact it made on my energy and reducing my appetite in the morning was eye opening to me. I have one every morning and have experimented with it a bit, but never cold (the butter and oil would thicken and that's not good).

I also add a little heavy cream and sugar free syrup to mine, which technically makes it not BPC I guess, but the effects seem to be the same for me.

Great time saver hack tru2one. I wonder if ice cube trays would work.

Not sure if this is really a wrong way to do it. Some times I will half the amount of butter and coconut oil and make two cups to enjoy. Usually about an hour apart. Thoughts? any one that might have tried this? My biggest problem with BPC is it is so easy to substitute eating with this instead of real food. I have to be sure I make myself not do this. It is not a good thing.

And this is so stupid all you immersion blender users. Be sure it it unplugged before you might stick your finger in to clean it. I made this mistake the other day and it makes an ugly mess of kitchen and finger. Now I use another coffee cup full of hot water to clean.
