Ruined my Sunday-Wednesday 0 streak last night, martini's and manis turned into more drinking.

My goodness, I'll have to read through everything later on today when I have more time. I wanted to check in and say hello! The past week has been pretty crazy. My husband's grandma passed away so we had the funeral last week and lots of family around. Therefore, I haven't worked out in a week, I've eaten sooooo much food, and drank more alcohol than I would like to admit. So, back on track starting today! YIKES! Hope everyone is doing well!

    Hi all!

New year, new thread, figured I should check in :)

Words cannot express how happy I was New Year's Eve to say goodbye to the worst year of my life. I started 2015 with high hopes, determination and great company <3

I had stopped working out, was eating junk and drinking waaaaay too much so now I have about 20-25 pounds to lose to get to where I feel my best :noway: I know that getting zeros will immediately help she'd some lb's and combined with regular work outs and healthy eating will hopefully have some serious weight off in no time.

I still have some tough days and what would be Lily's 1'st birthday will be rough but I'm looking forward and being positive :#

Husband and I just got back from a week in NC where we go every summer. It was honestly the most relaxing vacation I've ever been on, I love the beach in the winter. It did us a lot of good, now I need to bring two of the pups to the vet today, start taking down Christmas decorations :( and cleaning up the house!

Hop email everyone has a great week! <3<3<3

Hi Kat...good to see you. <3
I've been plugging along...usual. Exercising again and wine when it fits in my calories. Hoping for a change to the scale this week. If not..I may have to go drastic and log some 0's.

Trying to not let my anxiety overwhelm me about the new puppy this weekend. I'm scared that our cat will not be happy, but I have to try and convince myself that everything will be ok! Any suggestions from anyone here that may have a dog and cat at home?? All input is greatly welcomed!

    Enjoy your trip, Kate!
Hopefully your cat and puppy will become best buds Bridget...I've seen many that work out that way. I know my youngest cat would end up loving a puppy pal...my oldest hates everyone lol. Either way it'll work out. My only suggestion is to just make sure your cat has his/her own space where they can be alone and the litter is also somewhere the puppy can't access so your cat doesn't get stressed. I'm sure the humane society has suggestions as well. Keep us posted. we want pics!
Nothing much to report on my end. Doing well on the exercise and logging food. Fingers crossed for some good results next week

I have 2 cats and 3 dogs, I agree with what SoCal said, mine get along fine because the cats have places they can go to be alone. Good luck!

I'm still super sore but my favorite work out is today, P90X Shoulders and Arms :# can't wait!

Only day 3 and I already feel less poofy!

I think it will be okay considering our cat has been around dogs. And big dogs that still have the personality of a puppy. LOL. Therefore, I think by bringing in a puppy that is more his size to begin with will be good and the cat can show who is boss. But we will just have to wait and see. It will be an eventful Saturday!

Congrats on the new puppy in your future Bridget.
Kat, I am so glad you are getting back into the swing of things. Good for you!!!

I have been feeling really crappy so I have been around much. I feel better today so the Bodi Boy will get a walk in today. I have been sipping Bacardi Torched Cherry with Diet Sunkist Lemon. It makes me happy.

I have a ton of stuff to get done this weekend because I will be with my Grandbabies the following weekend. Yay! Olivia is having a Mani-Pedi birthday party for her 3rd birthday. She is such a girly girl.

Mommy, Grandma and Aunt Holly will be having wine I am sure.

    Catch you all later.

sorry, made me think of 50 cent, in da club

    I have been good, well, 2 0s

girls night tonight, will have a few...

What breed is the pup, Kate?

My cats are dog haters, when I fostered a dog I just gave them a room and put up a baby gate they could jump over, so they could get away.

Speaking of, I know we have a lot of pet owners here and I just found out one of my cats has hyperthyroidism. There is a pill, but daily pills is not fun for either of us. Surgery, which has it's own risks and then there is a radioactive iodine treatment that is the cure but it is expensive. The cat is 14 and mostly healthy, so I don't know what to do... darn pets!

Amy, the new puppy is a shepherd mix. She is 8 weeks old. I haven't met her in person yet because the humane society we are adopting her from is 2 hours away. But her picture sure was adorable and she had very sweet eyes! So, I hope everything goes well!

I'm sorry to hear that your cat has hyperthyroidism, Amy! Giving a daily pill to a cat seems like an impossible task, but out of the other options I would probably pick that one.

    Thursday-2 glasses red!

I should definitely give the pills a try, they have a chewable and if she likes it, great! and there is also a gel you can rub on the ear, with mixed results because they can't tell how much is being absorbed, it depends on the cat...

    Hi lushes...

Life has been pretty sh!tty lately so I tend to stay away. I am grateful 2014 is over. Between financial crap, starting a new job, plus physical aches and pains, I have not been very social or disciplined. Not ready mentally to get my eating or logging in check yet. Alcohol helps...LOL

    Just a few shout outs...

Bridget - Congrats on the puppy! My big dog and the cat get along great. My little dog barks and annoys it relentlessly. Good luck...sorry no tips here.

Kat - I think about you often. What a tough year you have been through. 2015 is bound to be better!

Mama Lush - Glad to hear Bodi is doing better. Enjoy those grandbabies!!!

Amy, Socal, Gary and all the other lushes...Cheers!

I will try not to be such a stranger.
