Well, I'm not sure why, but I lost 2 pounds this week. I was only down a half pound yesterday but today, down 2. I even weighed myself 3 times to make sure. I'm trying to maintain, not lose. It's very tricky. I can be under my calorie goal and gain a half pound or so, or I can drop a bit of weight. It must be part water retention. I hope everyone had a great week.

Computershateme! I'm looking forward to having your problem.
I'm down 2.8 pounds this week. YAYYYYY! After being stuck for weeks, this is the lowest I've weighed since the beginning of last October. There's hope!0 -
I lost two pounds this week, really strange, felt like I was eating a lot of food - but I guess it was the right stuff. I would love to have your problem computershateme! I guess I will get there one day, congratulations Joan - good weight loss!0

It looks like 2 is the magic number so far this week. I also lost 2 pounds, which puts me at my goal Yeah!!! Now comes the difficult task of maintaining. But, since it's been an almost three year journey for me -- I joined MFP in February 2012 -- I don't see myself stopping at this point. I'll just need to learn a new way to hold steady and not become complacent.
As some of you know, when I joined this group I'd been stuck for a long time, so my thanks to all of you for the support and inspiration in helping me get to goal. You are an awesome group and I'm so happy to be here with you.

Seeing a pound drop off this week was encouraging. Holding steady or even seeing a dip in the scale for the next couple of months is what I'm aiming for.
It's so great to see the success you all are having. Applause for you.0 -
1# gone. That is my goal but I always hope for more LOL. Maybe next week will be better now that I can exercise again. Congratulations everyone on great losses!0

Well done everyone.......what a great week...I have managed to maintain at a pound under my Goal so that is good. Maintenance is a bit tricky, I am not sure what I am doing to be honest but so far so good. Have not been above Goal since I got there in early December.
Good losses everyone.... what a team we are! (*)

All the reports are very encouraging this week. I agree that maintaining can be very tricky. I guess I'll just have to allow myself a 2 pound leeway either way before I do something about it. I'm not upset that I lost as I will soon be going on a 2 week cruise and may find that it'll come in very handy before it's over. Lol.0

Hi everyone, Time for me to get serious again. I've gained 3 pounds since Christmas. I made it that far, then fell off the wagon. I have not been working my eating plan and I know I need to. So, I'm back on track. You all seem to have what it takes to stay on track. It is very encouraging to read all the posts.0

Great reports this week, people! I released another 3 pounds in the last week. I attribute this to beating my exercise minutes goal for the week. ~ Kathy0

You have all done so extremely well! My scale tells me I've done horribly, but my head is finally screwing itself back in place. I've reset my ticker to my actual current weight - a gain of six pounds in the last three months. It is what it is, and pretending otherwise wasn't helping me. So..... I hope NEXT week I'll be able to post in here that I've (re) lost some pounds0

My usual weigh day is Sat, but yesterday I was so pleased with myself, I stepped on early....188...UP 1.4 lbs.. OMG! So, I got over it, did my walk, exercise and stationary bike, food intake on target. Stepped on scales today...186.4....down .2 from last week. Oh the fun I have :-)0

The scales can be a real challenge ... earlier in the week I went up 2.5 lbs overnight, despite having a perfectly good day of eating and exercise! Two days later, the same 2.5 lbs. disappeared so I am back to where I "thought" I was. I generally weigh every other day and that reveals some weird goings-on. So I find the once a week check-in helpful, because it puts everything into perspective.0
