    Hi all!

Rainy and bad weather here. I needed to do the shopping but didn't want to take the kids out in the weather (and because markets are tiny here and it is so hard with two kids, no one ever does that here...except me :# ). Anyway, I left them home for the second time ever (first time was last weekend for the same reason but to the mini market only). Son is 10 and can manage t not fight with his sister when he knows he's being dealt responsibility. Anyway. Without them, I was able to get lots of stuff in a short time and lugged the cart and bags home and up our hill and up the steps as quickly as possible. Guess that'll be my workout today. Also tidying around the house today and scrubbing the kitchen. Found out DH gets home a day earlier than I thought! Yay! Overall it's been a good time during DHs trip, but I'm ready to get back to my workouts more than ever. :-)

    Happy weekend folks!

Marla - your trip sounds amazing!

Sherry - home stretch! I'm glad you've managed to keep most of your sanity! You can make it, and glad your hubby is coming back early. Did he find shoes for you?

I got the crud yesterday. Well, Thursday night we went to Ikea and got new shelves to help organize the new play area. It works great! The kids can actually find their toys now, so they play more with more of their toys. It also cleans up faster. When we got home, middle child promptly threw up...forcefully...three times. So forcefully it was coming out her nose and I was worried she wouldn't be able to breathe and would inhale it. She also managed to miss the bucket most of the time on two of them so there was a lot of cleaning. The next morning I woke up with a fever and TONS of mucusy nastiness. Still have it today. I'm resting as much as possible and praying hard because I have my post op on Tuesday and will be able to start training. I would be soooooooooo frustrated if I had to delay it even more. I've been going stir crazy the past two months So lots of movies for the kids and sitting for me.

    Have a great weekend!

val I'm so sorry to hear about all the crud there! I hope you get well asap so you can get back to your workouts! IKEA is great for kids organization. We have shelves and boxes, but my lil girl works faster than me. When I'm gone in the afternoon, she wrecks the place; when I take a nap, she wrecks the place; shower, wrecks it; shopping, wrecks it; cooking or doing dishes, wrecks.....well you get the point. Lol! Just since I've typed this, she's rearranged three large cushions. Sigh. I'm going to start a countdown to kindergarten, when I'll have +4hours per day at home without her (vs. the current -3 net hours per day, where I'm gone and she's here, lol). But I have a feeling I'll clean all morning and she'll undo it all afternoon while I'm gone with my son. :o

Went for a nice walk. It's over 40 degrees outside so beautiful! I need to do a workout. Need to get gumption up. I was sick last week - family too. No throw up though : )
Val - sounds like the same stuff going around in Iowa. I hope you all feel better.
