This recipe book is by Leanne Brown. She did the cookbook project to finish her Masters Degree in Food Studies at New York University. There are some very good recipes in the PDF above that is non printable, only viewable. I am going to purchase the paperback book and it can also be purchased on NOOK.

This is Leanne Brown's website.

  • Thank you for posting this. I don't have time to read it right now because I am chasing babies, but will read it later when babies are asleep.

Your welcome, I like this recipe book because I think it's good for those who already cook and those who want to learn. It's based on $4 dollars per day which when written is what SNAP benefits provided per person to eat.

Thanks Anew! I've seen this before and it has some wonderful recipes in it. I'd forgotten about it until you posted this.

I think it was Debora who told me about it - maybe in the pot bellied stove quite some time ago.

Isabel, that was me. I'd forgotten about that. It's good when things pop up again.
