Not much to this pre-season pre-view. Guess now they will have to figure out where they are going next

I'm so sad and disappointed. One of my favorite characters gone. So they essentially did back to back eliminations of 2 main characters.

My husband called it when he saw what happened to Tyreese. I was still holding out hope that perhaps he would live to become more of a badass.

I feel so sad for Sasha. To lose Bob and Tyreese within such a short span of time is devastating.

What happened to Noah's group? It looked like another group came upon them. There were many homes that were burned.

I'm surprised they didn't do a walker sweep of the house first before Tyreese turned his back on the bedroom door. Banging the front door for a few seconds isn't enough time to give the slow moving walkers to make themselves known.

Noah seems pretty useless about defending himself.

I officially declare Noah the new Andrea. Thinks he's a tough guy and just ends up getting others killed. He's an extreme liability.

I have a hard time being sad when they kill off any of the 'moral compass' people. I do feel for Sasha though, it should be interesting to see where this takes her.

I am also curious what happened to Noah's group. What was with all of the bodies being dismembered like that?

So bummed. I loved Tyreese, and his hammer!! Plus, the fact that a big hot guy had a heart, and cared for Judith and saved her....(insert pulled heart strings and "Awww")

I loved how they did the scenes with the hallucinations, bringing back the Governor, and the kid from Terminus, the girls, Beth, Bob, I loved that!!! Did you see the Talking Dead? They mentioned how the people that were "welcoming" Tyreese in the hallucinations (Beth, Bob & the girls) had all died horrible/violent deaths...or experienced a lot of pain before dying, and they were telling Tyreese it was gonna be ok...

I thought the Truck Full of Torsos (and heads) is like a throw back to the Governor's walker bomb that he sent into the prison...and def that community was attacked...at first I thought when they turned around and saw the battered gates it may have been a herd, but then after the truck, and the bodies, (and also Noah's mom with a cleaved skull)....it was another group. Had to be.

Some of the heads had a "W" carved or branded on to the foreheads. In the residential community, there was also graffiti that said "Wolves are near us" or something like that. It sounds like the name of a much more violent group that attacked them.

Oh right I forgot about that! And I did think I saw some four legged beasties in the preview so maybe there are actual wolves. With machetes.

I noticed that some of them had what looked like numbers carved into their foreheads. I also noticed that graffiti because at first I thought it said "Wolverines" and I recently rewatched the original Red Dawn.

When Tyreese first got bit I thought "I'm not that torn up about him dying." Once he got in the car and saw Bob, the girl and Beth I shed a few tears. I think he didn't see Karen, his girlfriend, because when he forgave Carol for killing her, he moved on from that. Clearly he hadn't moved on from losing the girls, Bob and Beth.

I did not tear up because of Lizzie. I mean, does Heaven cure psychosis, was that the point? I was more worried about her murdering her little sister. Again.

Ok this actually made me laugh out loud. I think what got me more was Beth and Bob since their deaths were so recent.

I want a re-do on last nights episode. Not happy that they killed off Tyreese and had it be a child who did the biting. Guess there was some sort of moral there, but I don't like it when they kill off the good guys. I suppose Glenn is next.

I haven't read the comics, so I predict that Rick, Carl, Carol, Daryl and Glenn will survive the show's entire run.

I hope that since they killed off two main character back to back that the other are safe...for now.

I’m surprised that Michonne seemed so upset about the community being gone. I think she is starting to feel like she did before she found Andrea. She wants a place to be able to stay and feel safe. I was also surprised to see Glenn having more a hard edge. I think that’s definitely a switch between those two characters.

I wanted some more emotion or at least some reference from Maggie about Beth. I hope there's at least a flashback in the future.

Didn't it seem like the whole 500 mile journey to Richmond, VA happened so fast? Where did they get gas? Didn't they ever come on a pileup on the main roads?

Maggie didn't care one whit to even look for Beth while she was gone. She didn't even THINK about Beth that whole time as far as we know.

And then in the preview they're like dying from walking so far and not even trying to find vehicles like that's something that wouldn't even occur to anyone.

The more I think about it, the more this was a really bad episode. I suppose after 1.5 seasons of all good ones it had to happen.

I'm pretty freaked out by the knowledge that there's a group of roving lunatics out there dismembering people (or just zombies?), carving "W" into their foreheads, and storing their... top halves... in the back of a truck. If the "WOLVES NOT FAR!" warnings weren't enough to inspire a healthy dose of caution (and, you know, terror) of them, the truck o' zombie tops bloody well should. Suddenly, the Termites are looking like fluffy kittens.

And I'm a little disappointed in how they knocked Tyreese off. I mean, walkers aren't particularly stealthy with their loud mouth noises and shuffling, so... silliness! I was hoping Tyreese would nut up as the series progressed.

When they were at the edge of the neighborhood, there were a bunch of lower halves of bodies, then the truck that they hit had a bunch of upper halves. I'm interested to know where that's going, if anywhere. Like maybe the walkers can't do much damage if they don't have arms and legs to help attack you, much like what Michonne did with her two leashed walkers way back when.

As for Noah, it looks like he can pull his weight when he needs to. The kid that bit Tyreese was one of his brothers, and Noah grabbed a model plane to kill him, apparently without hesitation.

Honestly I thought the whole thing following Tyreese's death/hallucinations was really good. It kind of brought us all back how it's gone from just surviving to thriving - meaning investing emotionally in each other rather than just destroying the brain and moving on (and forgetting about them) once someone dies.

Before we watched this episode, we re-watched the mid-season finale, and I was reminded of the end where Morgan showed up near the church where Rick's group was holed up. Now that they're in VA and heading towards DC, how is Morgan going to play into this? Or was that just random that they showed Morgan, as a bit of a tease? Will the group head back down to GA, or will Morgan head up their way? Will they ever run into each other?

On TTD, Greg Nicotero said that they were in for some pretty rough times - the preview showed them food and water-less so that might be a good time for Morgan to show up. I feel like he's set up to be a rescuing hero this time.

I read somewhere that Morgan is actually weeks behind the group. However, thanks to the map he picked up at Father Gabriel's church with the reference to Rick Grimes, Morgan knows their end destination is D.C. (that was when they believed in Eugene's story), but their end destination is still D.C. so maybe they'll meet up shortly before that.

Oh and GN also said it was 17 days from when Beth died to when they got to Richmond.

I totally forgot about the map, thanks for the reminder! Hopefully Morgan will follow it and seek out Rick.
