Lower body pain

Hi everyone. I am 4 weeks post op sleeve with a host of other complications. 1- 2 days ago I started having really bad lower body pain. Low back pain, lower pelvic pain, knee pain, feet pain. My legs just hurt all over. It is not localized in one calf ... Then I would assume blood clot. I am hoping it will pass and that it is normal. But tonight the pain was worse than my upper GI /back pain from my pancreatitis (from surgery).
i am a nurse and am baffled. I am hope if it is a protien thing, or weight loss side effect. I have never had fibromyalgia but it is how I imagine it would feel. I can't sit comfortable for more than a couple minutes.

I know this is a message board and not a doctor. I am just hoping you all will say "I had that also" .
If it gets worse or is still there in the morning I will call my doctor... Especially since I had other complications as well .

Thanks.

Call the doctor. This does not sound normal. Keep us posted

I have damage to my lower spine, arthritis from there down in every joint and bone spurs in both heals. As I started moving more the pain was bad and pretty constant, all from the lower spine down because all I did was walk. As the weight came off, the pain diminished and now I am pain free 95% of the time. So, assuming you are walking a lot, that could be it. But if you aren't maoving/walking a lot more than normal, you need to check with your doctor.

The pain was a little better today . I see a GI doc tomorrow for my pancreatitis... Maybe I will ask him.

I am so tired and still in pain that I don't walk a lot but it is getting better. I do notice when I am up and about more is when the pain hurts to worst when I finally relax.

Thanks for checking on me Bugged53
After this post the bad pain stopped but I still have moderate pain and restless legs and arms. I talked to my GI doc (happen to have an appointment) he had no clue what the pain /restlessness was. He was kinda an *kitten* about it.
I have a call out to my bariatric surgen.

I had another bad night last night after I decided to try not taking my pain Meds .i woke up at 2 and and could not tolerate anything touching my arms. Ripped my shirt off kicked the sheets away... I wanted to rip my skin off.
After some research the past couple days I think I discovered I reduced my narcotic pain Meds to fast. I was on Percocet or other narcotics since jan 12th. After 4 weeks my weight limit for lifting was lifted so I kinda jumped head first back into parenting and lifting my 1 yr old twins and 6yr old. I wanted to be able to drive so I started cutting my Percocet doses drastically.

So I think the pain was caused by withdrawal symptoms. I will now taper much more slowly.

I will see if my Surgen agrees with me .

I am just glad it is probably not a permanent after effect of my surgery/ bike leak/ pancreatitis . I was afraid it was fibromyalgia caused by body stress. Fingers crossed it is just the Meds.

I was taking high doses of predione and was not weaned off them at the same time I went off strong pain medicine. I had all kinds of strange symptoms. Was told afterwards that I was growing through withdrawal. Hope your problem I solved.

4 weeks out is still early. Yes, check with your doctor, but I know for a fact I had a lot of pain, weakness, and tiredness for at least the first 3 months. Especially the lower back, lower abdominal, pelvic area and legs. More relaxation time might be necessary.
