In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

    Hearts- thanks for getting us started. I love the bruce lee quote. You picked great goals for the week and I hope you can work on them but especially get to the pool.

    trying to keep it simple to get moving ahead.

    February 9 to 15/15 Goals
    Still sticking to my Exercise Goals - The scale says I'm up but I am hoping it is just from exercising as I have been under my calories everyday for eating. I need to take my measurements so when this happens I can at least measure and hopefully see results.


    Monday, February 9/15 - Line Dancing -45 to 60 - 2pm
    Tuesday, February 10/15 - Aqua fit class - 60 minutes - 6:30pm
    Wednesday, February 11/15 - Aqua fit class - 60 minutes- 9:00am
    Thursday, February 12/15 - Aqua fit class - Water Running- 30 minutes - 7:30pm
    Friday, February 13/15 - Aqua fit class - 60 minutes - 9:00am
    Saturday, February 14/15- Break
    Sunday, February 15/15 - Walking 60 minutes OR May be another day off.... depending on how I am feeling and if I got all the other exercises in for the week.
    Here's to getting into the exercise habit!!!!!!!!

    Lost_it, Forest and la_nanita... nice goals for the week!

    That bedtime by 9:30pm last night in my goals got done but I think I can do better...like staying in bed after I go to bed. HA HA
    I can't believe how late my bed time has become, for no good reason either.. nothing productive so I'm excited to get it back to a healthier time again. :)

    I ate a bite of a banana this morning.. can't really call that breakfast and forgot to log it.. I drank water but not sure how much, I'll make up for it tonight. So far my goals? 0! :)

    Trying to start fresh on my goals this week as I've felt myself slipping away ..

    The Basics where it all makes sense again like in the beginning.

    Like a fresh start...

    Plan on a water class in the a.m I feel myself wavering and have no clue why... out of the habit after last week without a car perhaps? Finally got my tires looked at and it was a couple stem valve leaks so only $24! WOOT WOOT! I figured I'd be buying used and then on to new after that. Sooooo grateful that's all it was... inconvenient but..hey that happens sometimes. ;) Things are back in place again.

    Been working over at the place I volunteer quite a bit recently... we've gotten in a lot of donations due to Spring Cleaning I imagine. The snow here is almost all melted and today was in the 50's!! It's been a bit messy but so beautiful to see sidewalks and mud again instead of ice. ;)

    Back on track? Time will tell! It's hard to get back into the swing of things after vacation!

    Mini-goals
    1) Move your body - 150 mins of strength training, and cardio too
    2) Track and be green!!

    I'll start there for this week.

    Hearts, I definitely feel you with the getting back to basics.

    My goals for this week:
    1. Check in here at least 4 times this week
    2. Eat something green every day

    I am very proud of myself today. I used my pressure cooker for the first time and made veggie soup with green lentils, yellow split peas, zucchini, yellow squash, artichokes, and carrots! It was even edible!! :p

    Monday, February 9/15 - Line Dancing -45 to 60 - 2pm - Didn't go to Line Dancing...But did 60 minutes of Wii fit exercise including 15 of yoga. Also did some fun Wii Frisbee golf with hubby as it was Family Day here in BC so we had the day off together

    TorontoJulie- I totally empathize with how hard it is to get back on track after vacation!!! Took me a few weeks last time; had to take a few steps at a time.

    Philosohoe- great job with the pressure cooker! I've never used one before, so I'm definitely impressed :)

    Lost it- sounds like a fun day, and I love the animated golfer smileys !

    I'm posting my weekly goals for this week a little late, but better late than never, right? Lol. Anyway, here they are:
    1. Make healthy food choices 6/7 days
    2. Stay in the green zone 6/7 days
    3. 7 glasses of water daily
    4. Exercise 3/7

    Monday's progress was positive in all goals :)

    Happy Tuesday All. Looks like the wseek is off to a great start with lots of good things happeng. Like Hearts says it is progress not perfection.

    Susan- post anytime you want. looks like good goals and nice start to your week. keep it going.

    Lostit- good for you making a positive switch in your plans and doing Wii with hubby. you can continue to have a good week.

    philosohoe- great job with your checking in and staying green. step by step you can progress. very impressive with the soup and the pressure cooker. you are adventurous, keep working at it.

    Mak- nice Monday for you. good job with the logging and checking in. Keep working on that log as you go thing. that is a challenge but I know you are up for it.

    julie- I definitely agree that it is hard to get back on track after vacation. but you picked good goals and you can have a smart and healthy week. you got this one.

    Molly- excellent goals for the week. I know you can progress. You are so worth it.

    Hearts- I know you love that water exercise so I hope you get to that. very good news about the car and the minor cost of repairs. always a good bonus when it works that way. i know you can make progress with your bed times.

    Lananita- good to see you back this week. keep working on those goals. your goals are very sensible and doable. good luck with them.

    so my Monday progress was not good. I logged and did pretty good but fell off after dinner. I need to make a plan for that one. No exercise yet this week but the week is young.

    Thanks Hearts!! I know you will get back on track soon..... be patient with yourself. It takes a while to bounce back to normal routine after a 2 week vacation.

    Checking in for the day. I haven't had any green veggies yet today, and I've had a very not clean day so far. Maybe I'll go snack on some spinach to make myself feel better ;)

    I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday. good job checking in everyone. we can do this! continue to make smart choices.

    My goals progress-- well Monday and Tuesday I did not log everything or do exercise, but I am happy to say I finally did a workout this morning. it felt good and I just know it is the start of staying on track. thanks for everyone's support.

    Having a tougher week, not just food and workout but getting things done in general. Separating laundry to head to the laundry mat and hopefully remember to pick up a couple prescriptions as well.

    I feel off kilter somehow... things seem harder than usual... anyone else get that feeling some times? I seem to feel this way every few months.. beats the frequent funk I used to go into though. :)

    So these are my goals for the rest of the day and I'll go from there. Munching on an apple with water now. ;)
