I am Lorna and I'm 44 years young! I had been experiencing some peri-menopausal symptoms at this time last year, but I'm not quite sure where I stand now. I was diagnosed with lung cancer last fall and underwent chemotherapy from January to March of last year. My body hasn't been the same since! After my first chemo treatment in January 2014, I stopped having a cycle. In October my cycle returned, but only for that month! So, I'm not sure if chemo has just thrown me for a loop or if I am actually going through the change.

    Welcome Lorna!

Chemo can definitely throw you for a loop!

I was thrown into early menopause after a miscarriage in my early 40's.

You can have your doctor give you a hormone test to get an idea if you're in peri-menopause. Since your hormones fluctuate a lot from month-to-month during the peri years, the results vary. But it might give you an idea. My doctor checked me while I waited.
