I wear one during my workout it shows between 75-90 cal. the cardio workouts are around 175. I think that it should be more, the fitbit only counts calories per steps or miles. It doesn't measure your heart rate.

Mine showed 78 calories for cardio 2 workout. I was hoping it would show more. I mean, do I have to work this hard to burn a slice of bread? :D

Hmmm.. now I am confused. Could you help me clarify something, please?
I logged my cardio workout on MFP this morning and it was estimated as a 208 calories burned. Initially, after the workout the fitbit adjustment was -130, which made me assume that according to fibit I only burned 78 calories.
Now however, after another sync, on MFP the fitbit adjustment adds another 133 calories burned.
Have you noticed anything similar? How accurate are these estimates? (I have only started using the fitbit so I cannot tell if the calories showed here are reflected by any weight change...)

:) rrright... so I need to start it?
I use a fitbit flex and I assumed that it just tracks the activity. Is there a way to start logging workouts by starting it?
What I do when I log the workouts is enter the start and end time on MFP after I have done it and that synchronizes with the fitbit account so the activity is logged as "Circuit training, general (MyFitnessPal)".
I think I need a little more time to figure out how the accounts are synchronized.
I get the feeling that I am starting the day with the negative adjustment, as I haven't taken any steps and haven't been active and then, as the day goes by, if I am more active that it was initially estimated, I get the extra calories burned as a positive adjustment.
I am not sure though... I need to see what happens the next few days.

yes on mine there is a start/stop button that tracks your activity. after im done I can sync my fitbit to the app on my phone.

Ah, now it makes sense. It is probably a surge or charge. Yours also syncs with the phone - I have an old android (going to be replaced soon!) and it doesn't have Bluetooth Low Energy. So I am syncing it in the morning and evening...
But it is fun using it and trying to figure it out. :) I feel like a child with a new toy!
