Snacks For Fast Days

Options
Does anyone have any good snack ideas for fast days? I work in the evenings and can't really eat a "meal"
Thanks!

Cheese sticks, those little containers of yogurt, walnuts and raisins, a peanut butter sandwich, cut up broccoli, carrots, celery and bell peppers, trail mix (although they can be high in cals), hard boiled eggs, rice cakes, grapes. And that is all I can think of off the top of my head. :) Really, you can eat anything as long as it adds up to 500 cals. What do you normally snack on?

Hard boiled eggs, carrot sticks, vegetable fritters.
Things like this are my snacks when I fast at home. I find if it have things i can gab easily and quickly I don't spend too long in the kitchen.
However if I'm at work in just don't have time to eat. It's awesome.

Thanks! :D Those are all great ideas. I do take cheese sticks with me which I love. Other than that I usually have baby carrots, 35 cal bread, mini pretzels... even though it's only for two days out of the week it gets pretty boring. I'm definitely going to start bringing hard boiled eggs. I've been lacking protein on my fast days.

    Great ideas!
I also use turkey jerky which is 80 cal's for a serving, I too crave protein.

I have just started this week, so not sure my advice will be the most useful but on my fast days I rely on my sparkling water to give my tummy a wee fill when i get a pang. It also means I am getting plenty of water on these days too.

    Don't mention carrots!

I like the thin Kallo wholegrain rice cakes - just 17 cals each so you might be able to add butter (or peabut butter in my case). I find that a couple can fill a snack hole quite nicely.

Also a can of diet coke can quell the hunger pangs until your next meal.

just make sure the carrots are washed... :o me: diet coke, chicken noodle packet soup, tea and my beloved ecig ( no real cigs for two years now, so don't even TRY to get me away from these...)
