I haven't used this app for an actual ride yet. I figured out a route to work and a different one back for tomorrow using the app. If I hit "do it", will my phone tell me when to turn, or do I have to keep stopping along the route and check my phone that I'm still on course? I'm more than a little worried I'll get off course b/c I have a timeline to achieve.

Last I knew, it didn't provide direction.

It will only track where you are/speed/etc. It won't give you any directions.

Thanks. I'll have to write out some cue cards, then. :(

I ended up not going today d/t the time concern. I drove it afterwards, and am looking forward to doing that trip later. Hopefully now I can ride it with the cue card. There would have been way too much stopping and location checking. The gorgeous water view came, of course, with a very steep, narrow, and winding road with low visibility. It's what I was expecting, but I never drive that area, so I wasn't sure. I just take the freeway.

If you have a way to mount the phone to your bars you can leave the phone on so you can see when to turn. Of course this drains the battery pretty fast.
