I am excited to post that when I first joined my fitness pal (August 2014) my goal was to take off the 40lbs that I re-gained over the past 12 years (post surgery). Well, I am within 1 pound of that goal. My ultimate goal is to go where I've never been before, down another 30lbs. So, I'm not completely done yet but I'm extremely happy with my results so far. It's had some up's and downs but persistence has paid off.

Thanks for the post, glad to hear that it is possible after many years to still lose weight.

I love hearing about long term success. Especially when you fought to "regain" your losses. Gives me hope and inspiration that I can be that kind of person too.

Thank you for posting this! It gives me the boost I need to know that even though I am only 4 years out, I can still take off what I have regained. Awesome job! :sunglasses:

I'm curious how weight loss is different and how it's the same as the first year post-op, at 12 years out?
