That no good Father Gabriel. I knew he was shady! Good that Maggie didn't confront in the moment. It's smarter to plan a strategy later with Rick.

How badass and scary is Carol?!
I wouldn't be surprised if Carol took Pete out herself. I'm sure he is a trigger for her.

Why didn't Glenn shoot Aiden as they left him impaled that way? It would have been a more merciful death than being eaten alive. Why couldn't he do something for Noah as he was dying? Glenn looked like he had some breakdown in this episode. I missed TD so I don't know what was said about Glenn's behavior in this episode.

Eugene needs to stay. He's useful and funny.

    Abraham was awesome.

So Aiden basically admitted that he and the others killed the four people on that previous supply run.

    Father Gabriel = Judas
He can't die soon enough for me.

I think it's good Nicholas is still alive because at least he can verify to Deanna how her son Aiden died. I think if Glenn came back without Nicholas, it would have been far more suspicious with Deanna now worried that Rick's group is gaining too much power.

That's assuming that Nicholas will tell the truth, they obviously lied about the last group. And then when Glenn confronts him with the truth, Deanna will have to decide who to believe. It could still go either way.

Can't wait to see what will be done with Father Gabriel, does he not want the rest of the group there because they know what he did?

Rick and co are going to take over Alexandria. They have to.

    I love Eugene.

I love Scary Carol (Scarol, courtesy of ttd)

Holy crap that was rough. Special effects guys had their work cut out for them with the blood and gore this time.

So the town doc is a drunk and he beats his wife and kid - this puts a whole new spin on the situation with Rick and Jessie, making it more difficult for Rick to just walk away. It sure changed Carol's tune with the kid (forgot his name - Sam?) - can't blame her as this will be digging up old wounds from her time with her jerk husband and the abuse she suffered for so long.

Amazing that the people of Alexandria have survived this long. And no wonder they go out to recruit new groups of people to join them, because obviously they lose people all the dang time - they are useless!!

Speaking of useless - Father Gabriel just needs to go away. I don't miss him when he's not in the episodes, and I dislike him when he is - waste of time it seems, and I suppose he's just there to stir things up with what he said last night.

Abraham was awesome - obviously the other group had never seen anyone take charge and save another person, facing the walkers and taking them out with anything other than a gun - their method seems to be shoot while you can, and then run, leaving behind anyone who can't keep up. Nice to see Eugene put on his big boy pants in this ep, too. He was awesome. : B)

I really liked Noah. :disappointed_relieved: And how horrible for Glenn - I think seeing him watch Noah's demise was worse than watching Noah for me.

Can't wait for the next two eps, but dreading them at the same time! I hate waiting week to week for eps now - I binge-watched the first 4 seasons and miss being able to move right to the next one. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: And then of course, the long wait for October.

The group at the construction site and at the solar factory, both showing how Alexandrians will NOT defend each other in a pinch while Rick's people risk their lives to save them, meanwhile Gabriel is at Deanna's saying how the exact opposite is true...now that's good storytelling.

But then we did see flashes of bravery - the one guy who stepped up with Abraham, the others willing to stay and keep working, and the guy who resigned as foreman because he saw there was someone better for the job.

Pete, Nicholas and Father Gabriel walk into a bar...and the door gets nailed shut behind them and they're trapped with a zombie horde the end.

    Yay Eugene...RIP Noah...

I didn't get a chance to watch last night and I'm dying to read the posts but I won't. I will be watching tonight for sure!

What is Rosita's job in the safe zone? Other than being Abraham's gf that is.

Snuggling up in the 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets while her man has panic attacks/goes to work, apparently. I sure hope dinner was ready when he got home.

Late response over here, but I was so sad about Noah.. it sucks that Beth tried her damnedness to make sure he got out of the hospital, even died (needlessly) trying to defend him, and he still ended up dead from that idiot Nick.

I will say, while I do agree that they need to do something about Jessie's abusive husband, Rick and Carol agreeing to kill him is NOT going about it the right way.. It's sad, but he's really giving me flashbacks to Shane with how he's acting :( The previous episode when he grabbed the gun just from seeing Jessie and her husband walk down the street was so different from the Rick we've seen so far, and I'm disappointed in him a little. Just because you've finally come across a woman you like, it doesn't mean you can just off her husband to get him out the way..

Maybe they can construct a jail or something, but killing the only doctor you've come across in a long time is not smart. He has a toddler, and should be considering all of that before just jumping to kill the man.

And Gabriel.. I wish they'd never saved him off of that rock. At this point Judith is more useful to the team than he is (babies can at least boost morale sometimes, lol).

Is Francine (I think that was her name) anyone else's new badass heroine?

Just watched last night and... I'm surprised at how sad I was to see Noah die. From a horror-fan's perspective, I agree that the special effects team did a great job this episode.

OMG Noah (can't remember his real name) was on Talking Dead - WITH his fake self from the scene that is all horrified and bloodied and has half its mouth ripped off. They fed it strawberries :)

Poor Noah!! That was one of the harder deaths to see. It really hit me in the feels when they showed his journal and he had written "this is the beginning."

Yes!!! I loved when she walked straight up to that guy and punch him right in the face!

I couldn't agree more with this!! I really wanted Glenn to kill Nicholas for being a coward and getting Noah killed. On the other hand if they would have come back without Aiden AND Nicholas that only would have looked bad on them.

First time I had to look away in an episode. I was really caught off guard by Noah's death and I just couldn't watch.

Does anyone else feel like the group is *kitten* this up? Darryl actually seems to have come on board and Rick, Carol and some of the others are just sabotaging their opportunity to survive in this place. Have Rick and Carol lost their sense of good?

I do not feel like they have lost sense of what being a good person is all about. Rather, they know that certain things have to be done in order to keep a good thing going. I also do not believe Rick and Carol have completely bought into the notion that they are surrounded by good, well-meaning people yet.

It's interesting because in "civilization" you can't just kill a guy for beating on his wife and kid. But in the ZA, maybe you can.

I said that watching this episode. I didn't want to believe that Rick would actually do that because Carol told him to. .

But clearly Michonne's holding the fort down. :p
