1. I've been a very poor diabetic for the past 10 years. Not horrible but not very good either and I want to get healthy.
2. I'm getting married in November and while I won't have lost it all I'll have lost some!
3. I want to have children and as a diabetic the chance for miscarriage is incredibly high but having good control over your blood sugars and weight helps a lot!
4. I'm confident I how I look right now, but I'm not healthy and I want to get healthy that's the goal!

    1. To feel sexy wearing lingerie for my new husband.
    2. My biggest irrational fear is to be on the show I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant because I am so heavy I wouldn't notice the weight gain.
    3. To be able to wear high heels and not look like an elephant on stilts.

    1) I'm tired of shopping for clothes in the "women's" or "plus-size" section. It's a new (and annoying) experience for me and I want out.
    2) I'd like to maybe enjoy the beach again.
    3) And finally I want to stop hiding behind people in photos.

My goals would be to want to shop for clothes again, as I hate it now - no how hard the designers try, big girl clothes are not flattering in style

I would also like to start dating again - I have been divorced 12 years and although I have dated over the years, I think my weight now is an issue and I feel so unattractive that I won't even consider putting myself out there anymore

I want to increase my energy level - I was always a go getter and on the move - have become so sedentary the last few years

    1) be able to shop for clothes in the "regular" size woman's area. What the hell? Designers think that just because you are fat your taste goes to hell? I don't want to dress like a sofa. And cute shoes. My daughter keeps telling me I am too fat for some shoes. Like boots. I want boots
    2) better health of course , I want to breathe.
    3) I just want to feel beautiful again. I am 43 (today) and if I don't do this now it will just keep getting harder.

    My reasons are
    1. Lose the pain in my knees so I can walk more.
    2. My daughter, I want to spend more time with her and walk on the beach like we used to.
    3. Overall health and attitude.

2.) I don't want my bike tires to look flat when I'm riding on it! :\
3.) I want to be able to run the bases while playing softball and not feel winded/on my death bed!

1.Not destroy my new cars drivers seat by squishing the padding with too much weight and causing it to compress and crack the leather. (Every taken a good look at your drivers seat? Check out the damage we do to the padding by being heavy.
    2. Relieve the pain in my feet. Every since I weighed over 240 my feet ache and they are widdening. I've gone from a size 9 to a 10w. Makes me sad. Cute flats hurt because my right foot swells under pressure and it resembles a loaf of bread rising after a few hours on my feet.
    3. Ride roller coasters again. I love them, but ever a larger woman fell out of the Texas Gian t because the harness didn't fit properly I have been nervous to get on one. If I can get under 200lbs which is a little less than half way for me i would be really happy to get back on a coaster once more.

    My top 3 reasons are
    1) To feel good about myself again and be the REAL me. Since gaining so much weight it has made me anti-social, I avoid talking to people at all cost because I am afraid all they can see is how fat I am, this anti-social behavior has made moving to a new city even harder because I have no friends to talk to and it's been over a year.
    2) To be a good example for my daughter and teach her about healthy body image, I don't want her to only remember her mom always trying to lose weight, I want her to see a healthy woman that has made healthy eating and exercise a part of her life for health not because she hates her body. Also we want to add another little person to our family, and I absolutely refuse to be categorized as an obese pregnant woman again, seeing that on my chart after having my first was like a stab in the heart, especially since I didn't really think I looked that bad
    3) To look better naked, hubby and I have a pretty good sex life (sorry for the tmi) but it would be way more awesome if I could get out of my head and just let go.

There are so many other reasons to add but these are my top 3 :)
Have a good day everyone and happy logging!!

I think these reasons are in my top 10. Spot on. Even the move to the new city hits close to home too. I can be your buddy from afar.

    1. To help my spine after the surgery that I had last year and prevent more injuries to it.
    2. To feel comfortable in my body and be able to wear clothing that I can be proud to wear and look good in.
    3. To have more energy and endurance and do more activities than I can do now.
