    I've been away from home and computer for three weeks, so here's my report:
    Mar 18 = .4 miles
    Mar 19 = 4.4 miles
    Mar 20 = 4.0 miles
    Mar 21 = 7.55 miles
    Mar 22 = 1.31 miles
    Mar 23 = 6.6 miles
    Mar 23 = .94 miles
    Mar 25 = 2.25 miles
    Mar 26 = 3.88 miles\Mar 27 = 4.0 miles
    Mar 28 = .5 miles

    So March total to date = 51.92 miles. [I hope my math is right!]

    Well I'm pushing it to the bitter end this month. Added 2 miles today for a total of 73 miles in March. Need to add another 2 miles tomorrow to get it done. So much for bonus miles.

    Congrats to everyone who is at, past or near goal. And special congratulations to those of you still moving, even if goal is clearly out of reach at this point, I've been there, and it hurts, but if you keep on moving, you are still a winner in my book.

    I wanted to say a quick thank you to the runners in the group. I really enjoy hearing about your progress and struggles too. I love to walk, hike and bike, but running is still not fun or comfortable for me. Even so, I do envy those who love it. Perhaps I'll give it another try in May (late April?) once I get caught up on sleep and sanity.

    I'm off on a Spring Break vacation with my two teen sons this week to do a little skiing and snowboarding on the "mountain" of northern Minnesota (Lutsen Ski Resort) and that's why there was a little break since the last update, but it's all caught up to here now! :smile:

    I'd like to try for 40 next month. Going to try and take a couple days off though. I'm hurting. But hopefully with it warming up outside, I can start working on some longer runs.

    Thanks for the kind words everybody! I've only been running a couple of years. I don't love it, but I don't hate it anymore either. I feel so much better now that I am running. Sometimes I think I could run for hours and hours (very slowly!). @taxmom9093 I'm a firm believer in Couch to 5k!

    Yesterday's planned 20 mile bike ride was cut short when I took a nasty fall at an intersection. (Couldn't get my left foot unclipped, which of course means that's the way the bike went!) Hit hard on my left hand. I don't think I broke anything, but it sure is sore! It shouldn't interfere with the running, but I will probably be off the bike for a while. :-1: Anyway, managed to get 16.57 miles.

    \Back to the gym after Florida trip; treadmill, weight machinge, recumbent bike. Only 3.03 miles today, but ready for a new month to start tomorrow!

    March final total = 54.45 miles.

    Nothing like squeaking it in at the last minute. It was cold and really wet, but now I have enough mud on my bike and rain coat for bragging rights. :smile: Adding 27 miles for 330 out of 325 for GOAL!!! :smile:

    46.24/50 miles this month...fell short by a measly 3.76 miles - grrrrrr that's one damn workout BUT i did workouts 26 of 31 days this month...i'll take the win...
