2015- EAT MY DUST: Weigh in - WEEK 12 (w/c 02 Apr)
Well, stuck country for another day so that means a late weigh in after I have been estimating food weights all week so who knows what it will show when I do weigh in on Friday! Posting the thread now though so who wants to be first to weigh in this final week? Hope you have all found the challenge useful and any suggestions for the next one are welcome. I'll go first, after two relapses I have gained again, undone months of work. Not sure weighing today was wise but I am trying to be consistent.

I am slightly disappointed that i have only lost 5.6lbs. I know that if i had tried harder i could have lost more. Gain a few lbs lose a few lbs gain them again tut tut.
I am hoping the next challenge will start fairly soon. Well done everyone for sticking at it

KA, you need to look at those results again! You lost overall so you did make progress. Well done. Smile!
Claire, congrats on the overall loss. I know what you mean "up and down".
Spidey, that's about 12 lbs, which is a lb a week! Nothing to be disappointed about at your current weight. Not to sound pessimistic, but on the nest challenge as you are getting nearer to goal weight and have less to lose you might realistically expect only half a lb a week on average so you too should be smiling right now at a job well done. Maybe start looking at different & healthier food choices and lose a few of the low nutrient "treats" and eat a few more of the high nutrient foods if you want to maximise loss & maintain or improve health on the next challenge? It is a balance we all need to make between nutritious & "tasty" on what is sustainable "for us" as individuals, but over time you can change those "tastes".
So its both celebrations and disappointment! Celebrations because I actually lost a tiny bit of weight whilst away from home which is a surprise not having had access to make my own food or food scales, or had any "exercise". I guess sanding down PVC plumbing pipes, crawling and rolling about on concrete under low concrete raised floor, and digging the odd ditch burned a fer more calories than I miscounted when eyeing and guesstimating my food calories. It was only a minuscule loss, but a loss is a loss, and when unexpected is even more welcome! Disappointment because I only lost 2.7 lbs in 12 weeks! (Well, over the 12 weeks overall but more with the ups negating the downs and having to re-lose them! lol). So plenty to think about and take into the next challenge. See you there soon. Only succumbing to fast food for lunch once this past week did me some good. A pound lost is a pound lost. Not where I wanted to end up but I'm definitely going to keep working towards my goal.

So proud of you all! I maintained this week basically. I'm happy to be active and headed towards my bigger goal! Not feeling too good... kidney stone. But I'm hoping to see some loses in the next few weeks because I am now a dance instructor!! woohoo! That means I have to practice a lot and that I get to burn calories from all the dancing. :-D Reminds me of cheerleading!
I got pretty close to my target and hope to keep the pounds burning off day by day. Also doing better at eating healthier foods which is a constant goal of mine.
Next Challenge... I'm gonna exceed my goal!
