Hey ladies! I'm finally getting around to starting this awesome program. Completed Workout A today:) I've got a long way to go, lots of work and strength to gain. I'm 8 months postpartum and just looking for some inspiration from you all. So if you've got some before & after's it would be great to see! Even the in betweens would be wonderful! Thanks to all for the great information here!!!

I can't post pics, since I'm a tech ignoramus, but I'm 53 yr old and started lifting 2 yrs ago. Can now deadlift 235# on a good day, and am creeping up on the 100# bench. I am close to squatting full body weight- if not for a torn hamstring, I'd have it by now. Don't ask about OHPs, we don't speak of them....0

there's a whole thread in the stickies section just dripping with before/after shots that you might like. i started lifting about a year ago, although i didn't get started with stronglifts until the summer sometime. there's all kinds of things to like about lifting, and this is a really nice community to do it in.

Here is my before and after. The before is before I joined MFP and working out. After is from Feb. 2015. Getting my calories in line helped tremendously. I'd been doing SL for months at 1200-1300 calories. Raised them up a bit and lost 9lbs and 5.5 inches.

@psych101 you rock, seriously. I told you before, but you're one of my inspiration here because we started about at the same point and were you are now is just... fabulous.

Thanks for sharing your pics!! Awesome transformations!! Questions for sumiblue:
1. What changes did you make to your intake? What do you think happened? My intake has been calc'd @ 1350....
2. Do you work out barefooted? I do so that I can feel the ground better! I figure any athletic shoe wouldn't offer much in the way of protection anyway!

I increased my calories to 1350 from 1200. I am 46, 5'2". Pretty much as soon as I raised my calories I dropped weight/inches. I'm in the process of raising them again. I've been eating 1500, then 1700 without gaining weight. I do work out barefoot. I work out at home.0

Way to go Sumiblue and Psych!0

I'm also a newbie and will be starting this program tomorrow. I was doing NROL4W and did have success with it, but I want to try StrongLifts due to the simplicity. The less I have to think about and keep track of, the more likely I'll be to succeed.0

Wow thanks so much everyone! Amazing and well done! I hope to have my own success photos to post in the future.0

Amazing pics! I started about 3 weeks ago.
Starting with light weights bc I am not very strong. Looking forward to getting to know everyone better. I have a long way to go.

A piece of inspiration I have for you is that, after 7 weeks I can squat 100lbs, bench 70lbs and deal lift 145. I am so happy!!!0
