Struggles or successes of your week: It was a success for me to start counting calories again. I have been logging my calories and practicing portion control. I have been so oblivious to everything and I finally awakened to the fact that I have to take action. This is the 3rd time I have been trying to lose weight (and keep it off). I was just so indifferent lately and didn't have the mental "energy" to get started or motivated. BUT here I am and I am ready to get this weight off...claim my wardrobe back and my life back too!

    Loss for the week 4lb
    Loss this month 4lb

I started 'properly' a week ago and am happy to finally be able to 'sign up' to this with a loss of 4lb :)

Struggles were a night out in many different pubs for a friend's birthday, and having the children off school for Easter.. I really struggle to motivate myself to exercise when I don't HAVE to walk the kids to school :/ They're off for another week, so I'm hoping to get my uni work finished today then spend next week going out on lots of adventures with them.

Successes.. well, I lost weight, and I feel like I can really do this this time. I normally have that voice in my head by now, telling me that it's futile and that I *will* fail again.. but for now it's just not there :)

Struggles or successes of your week: still my knees. And some stress eating. But I count going out to a fancy gala with my husband, really enjoying myself (lots of good food and drinks), and only gaining about a pound as a success. :) I probably wouldn't have gained any if I had been able to change my shoes and get out on the dance floor, which is what I had planned. Instead I spent hours chatting with my husband's boss's wife - not good for my weight, but a good thing overall.

I'm also on my third month of starting a quarterly birth control pill. This is sugar pill week, so I might be at my highest water retention ever due to that right now. Hopefully, that means that

Struggles or successes of your week: my left knee. I don't know what's wrong with it, but even the elliptical was aggravating it. Another struggle is my eating. Always my eating. I love junk food. But it just doesn't love me back. Yet another struggle, my sleep habits. It's hard for me to shut my brain off and get to sleep. Something I need to work on.

Struggles or successes of your week: I'm starting late to this challenge, but I wanted to put my start weight on here since I've come back to the site as of 4/5. The first week was water weight, so I want to see how I do after that intial drop. I'm really trying to get 3 days of cardio in per week to start. I still eat pretty bad stuff, but I'm sticking to my calories, so I count that as a success.

Struggles or successes of your week:

I've not cycled much due to poor weather, and needing to get my truck to the shop. On Saturday though I rode 24 miles in 1 hour 40 minutes. We didn't walk much, but should be more active next week (I hope).

I'm still losing more than I expect (based on my Basal Metabolic Rate calculations and exercise burns), so I think I'm going to change my activity level in MFP to make sure that I'm not inadvertantly starving myself.

Struggles or successes of your week: I have yet to go over calory goal. even with going out yesterday for the first time in two weeks and having a bit of fast food. Instead of getting the crap I normally would have gotten I bought a JR Snack(1 piece chicken and small fry). I was originally gonna go for two pieces, had logged for it but ended up being even smarter and settling for 1 piece.

My main Challenge is exercising. I keep getting blisters on my toes that take me out of the game for a few days.

next week my best friend and her husband are picking me up to spend two days at their place. This will be the biggest challenge for me.

Camille, to avoid blisters try wearing two socks. One very thin to act as friction reducer and a thick one over that for cushioning. You can also use moleskin or duct tape on known hotspots.

Also - make sure your shoes really fit you. ;) I have bought many a pair that "fit" in the store, only to get them home and never wore them due to discomfort.

Struggles or successes of your week: I found it harder to eat the right foods this week. I've been craving things I shouldn't have. On success side, I've been averaging about 50 mins of cardio each day.

Struggles or successes of your week: Not to overdo it/Not to get frustrated. I've got a lot of weight riding on these joints, and sometimes it frustrates me when I can't do a certain exercise, or I walk slower than other people. I fight that mental game and have to remind myself that I'm doing something. Successes for the week, I didn't think I'd be able complete the Game of Thrones challenge, but I did.

Loss/gain for the week: (1.1 lbs)
Loss/gain for the month so far: 3.7 lbs

Struggles or successes of your week: Ugh. Indulging in cravings. Too much restaurant food.

I have been serious about my new PT routine, getting it done every day - but it is a lot of stretching and very small movements. Nothing that gets my heart racing. So not a lot of calorie burn. And I don't want to do any of my classes until I get clearance from my therapist/doctor. So, my only really workouts are walking. I did do over 70,000 steps last week. But that was mostly due to 2 days (Fri: 16,000; Sat: 14,000).

I did my strength training 2x last week. Fridays are just hard for me to get anything else in due to my work schedule.

I won't make it to 271 this month. But I would like to make it to 279. I just have to stop shoving c*** in my mouth.

Struggles or successes of your week: girlie issues. Never fails. Stupid water weight. My knee actually feels pretty good and I walked on the treadmill. It probably helps that I don't have to go up stairs. I'm doing almost an hour of cardio 3 times a week and I need to incorporate some strength traing in there too. Hoping for a better week next week.

Struggles or successes of your week: I did much better at eating what I was supposed to eat this week with only 2 over indulgent moments. Exercising didn't happen as much as I would like, but I've been using the stairs a lot more than the elevator at work Hopefully that balanced it out.

Struggles or successes of your week: I feel like I did way better this week about balancing good or small indulgences, and exercising.

I didn't make my monthly goal, due to those sucky two middle weeks, but a 9 pound loss for the month is perfectly acceptable to me. :)

Struggles or successes of your week:

Was out of town for vacation from 4/18 to 4/27 (National Parks across the SW, Hiking, some camping, etc). Didn't really do so great on tracking; tried to log everything, but with the extra time driving, and time without cell reception, I wasn't able to log immediately a lot of the time so I am sure that I missed things.

I weighed in on Thursday (my normal weigh day) on a hotel bathroom scale; we'll see on the 30th if that was the correct reading, or if I didn't lose last week...
