new friends for over 60's

Hi, I'm looking for MFP friends who have around 10lbs to lose. I'm over 60. I'm not very fit as I have arthritis and had a couple of replacement joints, but i do try, by working hard at home & in the garden. I do aqua aerobics fairly well, and a keep fit class fairly badly! I would love to get fitter, but not sure how to start.

    Hi, I too would like to lose 10lb. I'm 62 this year and although I'm not too overweight I've found I've put pounds on around my middle, making clothes uncomfortable and I'm very self conscious about my muffin top and stomach bulge. I've recently started MFP and am concentrating on changing my eating habits - I have a sweet tooth! At the moment I'm not doing extra exercise but may incorporate it later. I've found that weight is harder to shift the older I get. In my 40's it just melted off.
