Hi all, i am recovering from my 24 day Advocare challenge. I have gone on to loose 4+ lbs. I am wondering why i always go over my daily fat count when i eat nuts? Since nuts are good fat why does the nutritional guide say i cant have any? Tia

Why would you do something that requires you to recover from it? How long is the recovery process?

christina I do not understand on a very low carb very high fat eating lifestyle you are going over your fats. Where are you getting the idea you are eating too much nut fat? Most of us that are getting 75-80% of calories from Fats struggle hitting high fat numbers especially early on. It has been a long learning curve in my case.

I would steer away from any plan that has you eating anything except fresh foods. I'm not a fan of meal replacements or supplements. Why would I consume that when I can eat a juicy steak instead? ;)

I can't see your food diary so I have no idea what you are eating. What is your daily fat goal? If you are unsure what level of fats you need to be eating, try using a calculator to give you a guide. Here's a popular one: keto-calculator.ankerl.com/

There is a guide on how to change your mfp goals here: eatfatlosefatblog.com/how-to-configure-myfitnesspal-for-a-low-carb-or-ketogenic-diet/

Don't panic about the fat, check the calculator and change your goals if you need to.
