Hi all,
After a really great year-and-a-bit where I lost close to 70lb, I fell off the wagon last summer and have gradually put back on a fair chunk of that. Not all of it, but a disappointing amount, and I'm finally through the sort of denial and shame feelings I think, and motivated to just sort it out again. Glad for any new friends to support and be supported by - feel free to give me an add.
I'm 30, male, gay, based in the UK. I'm a musician by trade and as such have a fairly unusual/varied working pattern which sometimes supports eating well and exercising (like usually weekdays I am based at home so can cook nice lunch, go out for a walk when the sun comes out) but also can be challenging (when I have show weeks or am working away from home or travelling a lot). Of course everyone's life has challenges, there's never a 'good time' to start!
As for MFP, I just track all my food and stay within cals/fat, and my exercise is walking (fitbit) and, later, I will get back into running again. Last year I could run 10k in under an hour. Now I can run for about 1 minute, ha. I know I can get it back eventually... but yeah any new friends for this reboot of my fitness journey very welcome.

Hey,
Thanks. I'm a composer, mainly for theatre. Do some MD work with local groups too - a community choir, kids theatre groups, etc.
