A picture is worth a thousand words. Six months out from RNYGB; dropped from 332 lbs to 215 lbs so far. Thanks all for sharing in the journey.

Joysie1970 - I've mostly been walking, and as knees have felt better added elliptical and stationary bike as well for aerobic. After six weeks I also started weight lifting, and as I've lost weight I've enjoyed that and felt like pushing myself harder than I have in years. I was pretty active before surgery for a big guy, but I feel so much better now. And while it's important to start moving immediately after surgery, and I walked (slowly) a lot, don't be anxious to ramp things up too fast - I think it's more important to get rest and fluids in the fist month or two.0
