I can live for weeks on eggs, berries, nuts, and an occasional avocado. I've heard some people like meat. :)

12g carb for an entire avocado, and lots of fat and potassium.

Bacon is like the official food of this group. I'm sure some is cured with sugar, but just read the label when you shop.

Focus on foods you already like that are low carb. You'll quickly become an expert at reading the nutritional labels.

and when I was not a meativore I'd also buy:

kale, butter, sour cream, lettuce, mayo, butter, cheese, onions, butter, avocado, broccoli, coconut oil, radishes

I like butter way more than bacon. Can you tell?

Eggs, butter, meat (steak, ground beef, chicken on sale, salmon, ahi tuna and canned tuna in olive oil, kippers), fresh kale, frozen spinach and broccoli and coconut oil if low although I'm going to use the rest of the heavy whipping cream and maybe try kerrygold butter to save money. I also keep almond butter handy. That's the basics for me. If I find a recipe I like that's another story. This week I made deer chili, last week I made tomato basil cream soup which had a ton of calories and fat. My carbs average 50g or below. I'm working my way towards 20.

All of the above plus radishes, cucumbers, and leafy greens (sometimes, depending on mood). Also lots of cheese, I realized just how much and how many varieties when I straightened up my fridge last night, and pepperoni slices, which are a convenient snack for work. Yogurt depends. If I'm in a yogurt stage (this changes) I buy plain Greek, which I top with berries. Currently I'm not in a yogurt stage but my daughter is so I bought Vanilla Greek because she likes to make smoothies.
