Before/During....

So I think today's photo might be a bit misleading because I'm further from the mirror, but I realized I was wearing the same pants I used to take my "before" (actually about 3 weeks in) photo and decided to snap a quick photo in the bathroom at work this morning. Look how much looser my pants are!

Also, before this WOE, I could barely button these pants at all....0

Congrats! Very noticeable difference!0

Thanks! I had no idea my butt had gotten that much smaller! And hubby, despite his earlier objections and fears about me losing that in particular, has not complained one bit! I still have a LONG way to go, but I like seeing progress.0

That's an amazing difference for such a short amount of time! Way to go!0

I am truly impressed, you can even see that your forearms are more slender! Thanks for the inspiring pictures, I'm so happy for you. Post another in 3 months!0

Way to go! Makes it so much more worth it when you can see the results of your hard work!0
-
Wow! I'm sure it feels great to see such progress. Way to go!0

Yeah, your "depth" is definitely shrinking!! Awesome. I can't even wear the pants I lived in in January anymore. Not even with a belt! LOL0
-
Wow, what a difference! You look amazing. Your legs are so much smaller, as is your mid section.0
-
Awesome job!! You look so much slimmer! It's so nice to see that reinforcement!0

Great work!! I accidentally read the top photo as "2013" and was really confused at first. Slow to catch on, but you look great, awesome!0
-
Yeah, most people probably put the older picture first. Apparently I like to do things bass ackwards.0

That's awesome! Good work!0

That's a great loss! Well done!0

I just checked my weight chart. I was 227 that day--already down 9 of the 24 pounds I've lost, so even the "before" picture is 9 pounds lighter than my start weight. So THAT's what 15 pounds looks like on a 5'1" pear shape.0

Really nice work that paid off in a great loss! Good for you, Miami.0

Also, I'm sorry to be commenting so much here, but the more I look at this picture (which I've done a thousand times today), the more conflicted I feel. I liked filling out my clothes. I don't like the picture from today. I'm really shocked at this feeling. I know it's mostly about how my clothes fit, though--I hope!--so I guess I just need to go shopping...0

It is definitely the clothes. I hate feeling frumpy. Just because I'm a BBW, I don't have to look like a frumpy blanket. Go get at least one pair of new clothes or make friends with a seamstress who can rescue your favorite old pieces. If you've any talent that way, there are a ton of youtube videos that show you how to turn your clothes inside out and pin them, even when you are in them, if you don't have anyone else to help.
It is SO not just you...0 -
No, it's not just you. I can't stand anything to feel over loose. I like thrift stores for these transition times. Go on a Monday or Tuesday. People bring things in over the weekend and that is when the selection is usually the best. But yea, once I feel an item is too loose it goes in either the Goodwill or consignment bag.0

Gotta donate baggy clothes! I'm down to one pair of pants that fit right but I don't care I saying goodbye to bigger sizes. Hopefully this will keep me from rooting through the closet to find them if I put on a few ha ha. It's very freeing to give the too big stuff away.0

This motivates me so much! I'm 6 days in and 7 pounds down, but each day is a struggle. I'm 5'2" and started at 201 lbs, so I have a loooong way to go.0
-
There is definitely a difference.0

Congrats on your success, you look great! I usually don't like my clothes baggy either, but my scrubs are way more comfortable baggy then when they were boarder line tight. The only thing is when they're too baggy your not able to see your progress as much. Keep up the good work!0

Goodwill is the best for in between sizes! You don't look frumpy to me if it's any consolation. I thought you looked very well put together.0

Great job!0

Nice work! The pants are now too big and baggy on you. You need some new ones that fit correctly in order to feel most confident. Also, I don't know if you normally wear your sweaters so long, but the length of the shirt in the before pic is more flattering on you than the longer sweater. As a petite pear, hip bone length is most likely going to be the most flattering.0

Yeah, I definitely feel better in pants that fit. And regarding the sweater, that is what I was wearing to hide my heavier self (hubby actually bought me that particular sweater during one of my pregnancies). Also, these particular pants used to be so tight that I needed to cover my rear or they were obscene! It's a habit at this point, I guess. But thanks for the reminder to keep my shirts shorter. I'll have to get used to that again.0 -
Great job!!! Be proud of yourself!0

Definitely a big difference!! Congratulations! Imagine 6 months from now0
