I started following LCHF woe in January this year. In short 4 months, I am astonished with the success I see.
My A1C went from 7.9 (in Aug last year) to 5.8 in May.
Went from 24 BMI to 21
Improved my LDL/HDL ratio to 1.6
I have detailed my last 4 months at
myfitnesspal.com/blog/Calboy2015/view/beating-diabetes-one-carb-gram-at-a-time-745767
I have been a lurker in this forum so far and have benefited immensely from the wealth of knowledge here and supporting nature of the group members.
Thanks guys and gals.

Wow, you did it as a vegetarian? That is very impressive. Congrats!0

Yes, I am a lacto-vegetarian (dairy is ok, eggs not). It was an "interesting" period to adjust my diet to bring carbs under 100gm. At the moment I track under 70 total and under 50 net on most days.0

That's very interesting. I had a co-worker interested in how I am eating for weight loss, and I did not have any tips for her since I eat meat and she is vegetarian ( from India). I would not know how to do this without meat and eggs. That's amazing, congratulations.0
