So I've seen these types of posts on the main forums where people post their food porn photos and I thought, hey, why not us?! I see a lot of new people lately (I'm one of them) join this group and some of them needs recipes, and inspiration. It would be helpful to show off, plus let's be honest, we all like to brag every once in awhile.

Anyone else wanna join in? :)

Here is my dinner, this isn't a strict paleo dinner, more primal I suppose, but as a rare treat it's better than the alternative! I made primal pizza. Topped with bell peppers, olives, hot sauce, bacon, fresh tomatoes, simple tomato sauce, grass fed cheddar cheese, fresh basil from the garden, and the crust is basically eggs and almond meal. I personally rarely eat dairy or almond flour so this was a nice treat for me. :) (oh and those two slices are heavy and about 1150 calories total !)

hey a good steak is still a good steak. To upload a photo you obviously take one, put it on your computer, click the little icon that looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded over (it says attach image/file) and click choose file, select the file and it'll upload. Just make sure it's not huge. :)

And I KNOW I'm not the only one making sexy food over here, show us your dinners! ;)

Breakfast from the other morning! 4 egg omelette with uncured bacon, salsa, sour cream (we had some that was about to go bad), some hot sauce, filled with sauteed pepper and onions from the market.
I usually either eat eggs or fatty pancakes. Breakfast is so boring for me LOL!

My little addiction. Sloppy joe style beef, basically it's tomatoes with lots of spices, no sugar or ketchup in this yummy thing. Wrapped it in a little egg sheet. Topped with some hot sauce. Serve it with a big salad

Why is it I put hot sauce on all the food I photograph?! LOL

nope, it's honestly just egg. What I do is I WELL beat 1 egg per sheet (I used 2 for the photo). I use 1/4 tablespoon butter per egg. Throw my butter in my 10 inch nonstick skillet and preheat over medium / med high.
When it's hot pour in your egg and swirl the pan to coat well. Let it cook only about 20-30 seconds until you can slide a spatcula under it to flip. cook the second side only about 10-15 seconds and remove. Add more butter and repeat.
It's really yummy with the sloppy joes :) and it makes me think of Japanese omurice (a rice and chicken stir fry wrapped in egg and topped with ketchup).

I think I'm going to paleofy ( ) crepes soon, but I'm limiting myself to few treats. Adding it to my list of things!

I love these tortillas. SUPER easy to make and a little less eggy tasting than using just egg. I never added vanilla to make them a treat, just to hold everything that goes in a taco. Sorry for the size.

@HMitch1025 that looks yummy! I'm cooking up a ton of pork later tonight so I see tacos in my future too!

Here is breakfast this morning. Normally I only have either pancake or eggs but It's actually lunch time and I need to get in the calories for all the running around I have today! (lots of garden work). Of course I get a call from a lawyer while making pancakes so they got burned. Oh well, still yummy! Pro tip: put your maple syrup on the side so you use less and water it down that's what I do.

Most people go for canned soup when sick, me? I go for eggs. 4 eggs, bacon, small glass of OJ, peppers, spring onion, topped with basil fresh from my garden!

Bison steak! omg. Yes, I'm so proud! There's bison in the Yukon and I can't wait to get my little hands on some. More raw for me of course! Glad I didn't see that until today... I didn't have a decent meal all weekend until last night, that picture would have driven me out of my mind. :p

Dinner tonight minus the roasted bell pepper I already ate. Turkey meatballs with homemade sauce and a roasted sweet potato with lots of butter. Also 1/2 ounce mozzarella cheese that we had in the fridge, although I might end up taking that off it doesn't seem to add much.

I used a med sized sweet potato, mashed with my own mix of gf flour, baking soda, honey and coconut oil. It made 6 biscuits. I got the recipe from Pinterest.

This took less than 15 minutes! I spiralized a summer squash and threw it in a sauté pan, then threw frozen wild caught red shrimp on a pan with grass fed butter, once it was almost done tossed it in cumin, chili powder, sea salt, lime and cilantro. Poured it over the zoodles and it was delicious. I'd rather use fresh shrimp but still good. Loved the flavor combo!

I needed to come back to this thread and find your post just to say THANK YOU! I tried the egg sheet last night to make chicken tacos. A little flimsy and delicate, but they worked great! My husband loved them too! I think this will be a staple in my house from now on. I find tacos to be really easy because all you need is leftover meat and toppings, but I was always discouraged by the paleo tortillas that call for the different flours, etc. Not that they're hard, but I am so excited about knowing I can easily make an egg sheet!

YAY! I still need to make a good paleo tortilla (I honestly haven't tried yet) but I love my egg sheets. I'm so happy you enjoyed! haha

Been wanting steak but I'm poor. Decided to buy some brisket and tenderize it with salt. It worked pretty good, came out like a sirloin for tenderness. Salad is topped with bacon honey dressing (bacon grease and raw honey with a little olive oil), the potatoes are like half butter honestly. Oh and this is my husband's plate, his turned out prettier than mine!

yep I blame all of you guys. You and logging that steak. yummy! Oh and I posted this exact same photo in a cooking group on facebook and in the 2 hours I left for the art fair I got 49 likes and over 70 comments because a crazed vegan commented on my photo that nothing was sexy about slaughter. Oh my lawd the following comments are amazing and yeah. As a former vegan, I just have to sit back and laugh. On a side note, the art fair was cool.
