Supplements!?!?

So I got on examine.com (great website). Did some research and it appears that the following are supplements that actually do something: Beta-Alinine, Creatine, Vitamin D, Fish Oil and a Multi. What are your opinions on these and are there others that are worth looking into? I read that BCAAs and Glutamine don't really do much for anyone healthy.. Thoughts?

Pretty much agree with the above. Here is a good video from Eric Helms on supplements - also in line with the above.

Glutamine is pointless for the most part.
BCAAs MIGHT have applicability for fasted training but then you could just use whey.
Joseph Agu (brilliant dude) wrote a great blog post about BCAAs, on my phone so can't dig for it at the moment but consider looking it up.0 -

Yep thanks!0

I was wondering about the use of BCAA's too. My daughter has been making a blend of Xtend, gatorade, and carb powder (cytocarb) to drink during her 3 hour practices, while we are waiting for her Infinit Nutrition Jet Fuel (no caffeine in Canadian version) to arrive.0

http://josephagu.com/2013/01/18/bcaas-for-bodybuilders-just-the-science-part-1/Given the PT’s lack of clarification on the article in question, as well as his recommendations of consuming 3 g of BCAAs between sets

Creatine, Vitamin D, Fish Oil and a Multi.
I take vitamin D, fish oil, and a multi daily. I'm sold on the importance of those.
I'll take creatine when I have a container of it, but then will forget for months to buy more when I've run out. Can't tell any difference, either way. But, it's cheap! So, eh.
