Losing weight too fast?

Weird problem in that I'm following the clean eating plan, with a few exceptions (homemake baklava yesterday) and have lost 7 pounds since Monday. I feel great, am drinking a gallon of water a day, so I don't think this could all be water weight that I'm losing. I've always heard that it's best to lose 2 lbs a week. And I've heard that losing weight at the begining of a diet is waaay easier than losing lbs as one approaches her goal weight. Any thoughts?

I agree with it being easier at the beginning. Generally how quickly you lose should depend on your size. About 2-4% of your body eight per week is normal. Of course, everyone is different. The main thing is, how do you feel?0
