Remember all the stresses in my life? Well we had a curve ball thrown at us. Our 18yr old son was diagnosed with AML....Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Saturday. We are living at the hospital and Ronald McDonald House for the next 3-4 weeks. If you are interested in following his journey, here is a FB group I made for him. It is my therapy. https://www.facebook.com/groups/441439429350792/

Good luck with everything and make sure you look after YOU during this tough time. You will be looking after everyone else but you need strength too to be able to do that. So don't neglect yourself.

So sorry. Wow! Hate the curve ball! Just know that we are all here to support you, or just listen to frustrations if needed. Have they mentioned bone marrow transplant? Hope the chemo treatments have gone well. Prayers for all who are affected by this!

Yes, that is a very real possibility. I think they have to wait to see what happens from the chemo. Hurry up and wait, sucks!

Following... Praying for you and your son, @KaysKidz.

Don't know if you've seen this, but in starting to research fasting today, @wabmester pointed me to Valter Longo's research on fasting and cancer. Well worth a look if you haven't seen it already. Promising findings from initial research on fasting prior to chemo.
