Sometimes I hate the internets

For the most part I ignore the banner ads on this site. However recently I've been seeing banner ads for Depends. C'mon I'm not there yet. When the day comes I'll deal with that, but I'm good for now. What's the next round of banner ads? Hearing aids? Viagra?

I'm not on my death bed, so please don't try to sell me a cemetery plot with a scenic view.

I got a cemetery ad on FB. I was disconcerted. Plot with a lovely view, though.

The joy of ads. I have an ad-blocker but some websites are now blocking access if you use an ad-blocker. Ironic!!

My son takes the opposite approach. He uses an app that clicks on every link of every ad but doesn't interrupt the flow of his web-surfing. As a result, he is impossible to classify for targeted ads. My old computer isn't up to the task otherwise I would do the same thing!!

Lol, this is hysterical. Right now the ad at the top of my page is for men only testosterone. Last time I checked, I only had girl parts. Are they trying to tell me something?

Just go browse some store internet sites, clothing and home goods; go to booking.com and other places for a dream vacation (even if you know it really is only a dream), make sure to check flights to get there; browse books on Amazon, shoes on DSW. You will get lots of clothing, home goods, hotel, airline, book and shoe ads! Right now I have an ad on the bottom for a gluten free site (must have browsed for curiosity I'm not gluten free), J.C. Penney on the top, and Living Social on the side, nothing that defines me as "old", lol. Think I'll go to car dealerships and look at convertibles. :)

OK this is scary. I never went to a car dealership, but I MENTIONED it here, and now there's a Audi commercial on top and a Mazda one on the bottom, there really are bots noticing our words.

Yep, I ordered a shirt for my son who is a big man. Now all I see are ads for big/tall men. Hmmm, now that I think about it... that's not so bad....

I keep getting this annoying ad selling dresses for super skinny women, of which I am not! Rub it in why dontcha. I'm just glad the ads aren't splashed across the center of the page like some webpages. I can easily ignore them where they are now.
