Hi everyone. Keeping an eye on the big picture is an important strategy for success no matter our goals. Some folks are trying to lose weight, others to gain it. My goals include maintaining my current weight and gain strength and endurance. I've lost ≈ 90 lbs following the Primal Blueprint and I do not want to regain any of that fat. To help me with my goals, I use MFP to take a snapshot of my food every Monday. Sharing this snapshot with others help keep me accountable and on track. I thought some of you may be interested in doing the same.
Here are my numbers for this past week:
Weight = 162. Weight gain this week = 1 lb. Total weight loss = 89 lbs. Macros for the week = Carb/Fat/Prot - 18/56/26%. Daily avg cals = 1936.
Oh by the way... I am 6'1" and 53 years old. I did post my weight loss success story in the sticky if you are interested in reading about it.

Great results! I've finally been losing weight again after a year and a half of constant struggling with Paleo (I had a year of smooth sailing on Paleo and then boom!), where I ended up going 25 pounds total in the wrong direction. So I started something new that's making me feel very excellent so far: no plant foods.
In the last 35 days I've lost about 6 pounds and my usual macros are about 65% fat and 35% protein. Current weight 183.2, height 5'6", age 42, female. Calories are around 2000 most days. It's been a huge blessing to be totally craving free and to be losing body fat once again while also being able to eat to satiety. Time will tell if my current woe experiment is something that I'm adopting permanently or not. So far so good.0 -
It's Monday
Here are my numbers for this past week:
Weight = 162. Weight gain/loss this week = 0 lb. Total weight loss = 89 lbs. Macros for the week = Carb/Fat/Prot - 21/54/25%. Daily avg cals = 1795.
Cals are a little low this week, I had a couple dinners that MFP showed as lower calorie than I thought they would be.
My weight has stabilized to between 160 and 163 for 12 weeks now. I'm going to start increasing my exercise soon so we'll see what happens then.0 -
Another Monday Funday
Here are my numbers for this past week:
Weight = 162. Weight gain/loss this week = 0 lb. Total weight loss = 89 lbs. Macros for the week = Carb/Fat/Prot - 19/56/25%. Daily avg cals = 1873.
I'm happy with these numbers. Pretty much right where I want them.
Those of you watching my diary probably noticed one off plan meal last week. We went to a bull riding event and spent a large part of the day. The only food they had was concession stand food. I could have fasted, but decided to just enjoy the evening and go ahead and eat a cheeseburger. Probably should have went ahead and fasted, woke up with some acne the next morning. My bodies pretty good at letting me know when I screw up0 -
Another week, another set of macros.
Weight = 162. Weight gain/loss this week = 0 lb. Total weight loss = 89 lbs. Macros for the week = Carb/Fat/Prot - 20/55/25%. Daily avg cals = 1861.
Is anyone interested in my continuing to post these?

I like to stalk the board but I also check your diary so I'm fine either way0
