    I hate to say it but MFP is the absolute worst forum I am a member of

    That includes music forums where opinions are pretty extreme

    they moderators there are very strict about not allowing personal attacks, etc. LOADS of recipes, nice community, low carb news, etc. You can keep a journal there (like the blog here) ...
