Greetings everyone!
This is my second week of a calorie deficit with clean eating and lots of water. So far so good! I am eating enough protein to stay full (turkey, quinoa, greek yogurt). I am making a point to eat more veggies (cherry tomatoes and sugar snap peas are very portable). My grocery cart looks a lot different than it used to!
I have cut out my booze on weeknights. I save it for one night during the weekend with a 3 drink max. I still hang out with friends at bars on other nights because I love the social time, but I order seltzer water instead of booze. It saves money and my waistline!
Is there anyone out there who still gets carded at bars? Sometimes it is flattering, but at other times, annoying. I guess I should consider myself lucky.

Hello! I am new to this also. When I was 20 I never thought I would be calorie counting in my 40's but it's kinda fun and makes me super mindful of what I am putting into my body. I am not a drinker on the regular but darn I miss a soda! A can of Coke right now would be like gold. Nice meeting you! Good luck!0

Thanks! I have discovered that the weight creeps back on if I don't log everything on MFP. I have been logging on and off since my 20s. Good luck to you as well!0

It was a sad day when they didn't ask to see my ID!0

I know that day will come and I am ok with that. I am sure that bartenders who know how to get tips will continue to ask. :-)0

Wow!! I don't know what I'd do if someone asked me for my ID at the store! They'd probably have to pick me up off the floor!!! LOL0
