  • <20g/day, and no. I'm doing keto, rather than atkins, so my carb count will never go over 20 unless I decide to change to atkins or paleo or similar. I don't even eat root vegetables!

The only fruits Im capable of consuming are strawberries, blueberries and raspberries - cannot have more than 1 svg per day due to a metabolic disorder I have in conjunction with other medical maladies... So, I use them when I freeze them and blend up in my protein smoothies...

I am on a strict 120g carbs per day total as directed by my Endocrinologist.. but I tend not to have more than 65-70g's where my food choices are coming from fresh foods only....

Less than 20g... And nope, no fruit!

I aim for under 20g net CHO a day, but I'm not hugely strict on that; under 30g is OK. I do occasionally have a few berries, but not even weekly.

I stay under 20 grams each day and sometimes I have one serving of strawberries which is about 40 grams (@ 1.4 ounces) if I am on the lower end of those 20 grams.

20 or under net carbs for me and I might add some berries toward the end of day if I see my carbs are fairly low.

Under 20g, not on fruits or berries yet, but just poking my head round to say I had a strawberry from my garden last night and it was *fabulous*. I would have loved it, but never would I have appreciated the sweetness of it, without cutting out sugars from my diet.

Well seeing as others have answered i'll throw mine in too

I eat 10-20g total carbs (not net) daily, which works out between 5% & 10%.

I dont eat any fruit since going keto because i prefer to use the few carbs i have on other foods. Sure, it tastes nice, but i view fruits now just like candy: Fructose is the worst type of sugar for our bodies and fruits contain it in abundance. As far as vitamins and minerals are concerned i feel like i can get them from many other better sources minus all the carbs/sugar.

I'm trying to keep my net carbs under 40g per day... I'm such a geek I challenged myself to "30 days in the 30's" for June lol! I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I don't really crave fruit, but I'll reach for a few gorgeous in-season strawberries right now if there's a fruit platter in our meetings at work.

Under 5 carbs a day and I count all carbs not net. Carbs only come from eggs cream cheese and a wee bit of salad greens a day.

I shoot for <50 a day net. After 4 months it seems too easy. Very seldom do I choose to go much over that, infrequently I wander past that. Usually from a bit too much peanut butter...

I find that, too @Fvaisey. This WOE gets easier for me as it goes on. I just settle into a rhythm. Even stress makes me crave bacon - likely from the drop in electrolytes that seems to follow my stress related adrenaline bursts it seems - or cheese far more than any previous junk.

I keep letting a little carb creep in once in a while with faux-desserts, but I just need to stop those indulgences...

I'm in 5 months LCHFMP, 4 months keto (today!)...and it doesn't even seem like a change anymore...it feels NORMAL. :)

I'm not tracking super closely right now, but I would say my normal numbers are around 25 total carbs unless I add in veggies, which then becomes 25 net carbs... I can track up today or any recent day if anyone cares that much. LOL

Knit, ive started craving bacon a lot lately. Its great when you crave exactly what you're intended on plan rather than always fancying something forbidden. I dont crave real sugar or carby stuff much anymore - i find a small portion of a keto version of the treat, dessert, w/e always satisfied my desires for anything 'naughty'. But yup, nowadays smoked bacon with golden crispy fat is top of my cravings list. Keto has got to be the tastiest WOE out there.

I was at a bonfire to remember a friend who had just passed on Tuesday. She was a girl scout leader and so they had brought enough graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows for a whole troop. I pigged out on three whole S'mores!!! I was happy to find that was only 72 carbs. I don't even feel guilty. Somehow that helped make it a good day. I didn't even notice a difference the next day.

Lack of stress seems to be a key factor for me.

@KnitOrMiss what is LCHFMP? I can figure out low-carb, high fat, but am lost for the rest. I range between 7-17 carbs a day depending on my peanut butter snacks ala @Fvaisey. I had my genes tested and was recommended for a ketogenic diet. It is my preference anyway so I am thrilled to be back at it.

Yes, or Moderate Protein. If I leave out protein off my dietary description, some folks think I don't eat ANY or are convinced I'm being Macro-ist.

LOL, I'm also LCHFMP, trying 100 net or below, most days I'm around 60 ish. I eat whatever fruit is at hand but not often. Mostly berries, sometimes an apple or grapefruit, but yes the occasional whole small greenish banana, or fresh pineapple. If I go strictly keto, I've found my body rebels and I get ill and lose energy, and when I was trying to lose weight I stalled badly w/o drops in inches or pounds for about a month. Just bumped the carbs up a little and BAM! better function allround and started losing again. Just what worked for me, we are all different beings with different needs though. This way works best for maintenance for me.

I'm at 10 or less. They are from hwc mostly, but some eggs and cheese too. Tried some cherries and blueberries and did okay with the cherries, butt won't be eating them regularly. Haven't had any other fruit since March.

I'm planning to up to 30 and then 50 within next six month. Will try Paleo and see how it goes.

My carb levels are averaging around 50-75 I think. I do eat fruit, mostly berries and those sometimes though I did pack a very small amount of frozen fruit today. The carb count is 6.5 net. I was keeping around 20 carbs but, honestly, I didn't feel as good and I didn't notice my weight dropping significantly. I'm not sure if there was a nutrient I was missing, but I feel more "even" with a slightly higher carb count and a greater variety of food. Everyone's different. You may need to play around with the numbers to find where you work best.

50 or under per day. I've been eating berries. I'm not against fruit. But if I eat a banana it better damn be worth being 20-30 carbs (it's totally not)

~ 100g a day, sometimes less, but often times more on running days (5, 6 or 7 days a week depending on what I'm up to). I don't go out of my way to eat more carbs, but burning 700 - 1,600 calories depending on run means more food intake in a balanced manner and as a result I get more carbs on those days. Carbs for me average ~35% of intake.

I eat fruit all the time but mostly berries (blueberries virtually daily), the occasional apple (2 - 4 times a week) or banana (2 - 4 times a week).
