does anyone have any thoughts about using PGX capsules as part of a lchf WOE? I am enjoying this "diet", and am losing weight slowly, & feel great. In fact, my one year plus of serious depression-related inactivity has begun to change.
But I am not pooping enough, I don't think.

We can talk about poop here, right?

    That edited out some.
    Hmmmm.

I went on to say that I am usually sooper regular on a SAD. But now, not so much. I'm putting off weighing myself until such time as the spirit moves me...if you get my drift.

I take the meta probiotic everyday and it seems to be working so so. Never heard of PGX is this a stool softener?? If not try a stool softener. When I broke the bone in my shoulder and was really constipated because of the pain meds I had to take Castor oil. I don't wish that on my worst enemy!

I used to use PGX bit never found it really did anything. Increasing your magnesium will help with the plumbing. :)

On this way of eating, you will go less often because the foods are dense and the body process them slowly. Unless you are in pain or finding it hard to pass once the "spirit moves you," you aren't constipated. Some people only go once a week on this WOE... Fats take the place of fiber in this process to help the "moving along" but, so if you're still trying to get in fiber, it might be gunking up your works, so might be better dropped and upping fats a teensy bit until you're comfortably going...
