Good thread starter today! I think I'm starting Plan E today.

I just got my stitches out, so I'm pretty excited about that. She gave me some tape to keep on it for the next 3-4 weeks, which should help keep it together (the wound gaped open more than I expected when she took the stitches out) and should help minimize scarring. I could have gone back to the ER and had them removed for free (insurance considers that part of the same visit for billing purposes) but my primary care physician is half a block from my office so I decided I'd rather pay my $25 office visit copay and just get it done instead of spending hours waiting to get in at the ER. I had to wait 30 minutes to get in when I was actually bleeding, so I can't imagine how long it would take to get the stitches out.

I got up early enough to run this morning but my leg was just a little sore, so I decided to wait until tomorrow. I've got Jason Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday this week because he's out of town Thursday & Friday.

Your right Laura ER gets you in by priority, if bad stuff going on you could wait 4 hrs!

I did 2 1/2 mile walk today. Today and tommorow are clean and organize days before we leave to Oregon for 3 months.

Hubby out of town most of day so i get time alone :)

Not sure what letter I am on but grateful there is plenty! Lol

Hey all! Sorry I've been MIA. This week has been crazy!
I went to kids camp, and for the first day tried to eat well. Which is hard at camp. Which meant I didn't eat nearly enough and got quite sick. Migraine, dry heaves, almost passing out...those were just what topped the list. So I finally kind of had to chuck the healthy eating out the window. I was getting about 15-20k steps in every day and was outside all day as well running around and keeping kids organized. My body just needed food. So my eating habits sucked a bit. But no more illness once I started snacking liberally.
My last day at camp my dad ended up taking my mom to the ER, which is scary when your dad who is an ER doc is scared enough to drag your mom into the ER. She has a viral sephalitis, which causes swelling in her brain. She was having problems walking and talking, and even now (almost a week later) she talks very slowly and cautiously and has problems forming sentences. Considering she usually does the times crossword in pen...this is frustrating her to no end. But she is now on the road to recovery, but it was frustrating being somewhere where I was no help to them. When I got back my hubby was starting his work week. So little sleep, and come home to a house with no groceries...a new bed shoved in the middle of littlest one's room, and a new mattress. So I had to rearrange furniture, clean bedding and make beds, and then take several shopping trips to get the food we needed. All wit three kids in tow. This weekend was stressful. Oh, and our church administrator got a massive leg infection and is in the hospital until Tuesday. We visited him yesterday.

But I'm excited to get my life back. On a good note, the little boy I've been watching every day is now staying home with daddy. Since I couldn't watch him this past week, they decided to just make this his transition to staying with them instead of sending him back for two more weeks. Which relieves me of that extra stress a few weeks early. So now I'm done with diapers and I don't have to deal with another families schedule and making it mesh with my family's schedule. I'm going to start slowly ramping my training back up, I've got a new chores chart for my older two that they now have to follow, and life has been going more smoothly the past couple of days,
I'm bracing myself for a few days of migraines over the next few days. I was eating quite a bit to stave off headaches at camp because i couldn't afford to deal with them, running kids activities, lack of sleep, and everything else. But now I have to get back down to better habits and the adjustment always makes my head freak out. But I'm braced for it and have chosen a few days with now big appointments or anything planned. So I should be able to rest a bit each day if they hit.

Sorry for the dissertation. I missed you all and I'm happy to be back! You all are awesome accountability for me and you're what keeps me going!

So of course the very day I set my goal of steps, yesterday, my fitness tracker bites the dust for good. My company is providing some soon, so I'm gonna wait and see if that works out before I spend the money.

Feel calmer today. Made high protein green chile chicken enchilada casserole (aka Mexican mishmash) and it was delicious for dinner.

Don't have to be perfect, just mindful. And go to bed early
