When is weightloss too rapid?

I know conventional recommendations (in the US at aleast) are for 1-1.5 lb per week. What rate is too fast when on low carb. I know that electrolyte problems can occur, and can at worst lead to arrhythmia and heart problems.
Where does that point lay? I've been losing about 3-4 pounds a week, but have just been at this for about a month. And, I have a lot to lose, so it amounts to about 1% per week of my heaviest weight.

Don't fret. It will slow down and you will long for those days! Enjoy it while it lasts.0

I think too fast is if you feel sick, lethargic, weak, etc
I'm averaging 2.2 lbs a week, I never feel hungry, I'm eating between 1200 and 1900 calories a day. My energy is back now that I've been good with my electrolytes.0 -

I think that limitation focuses more on the body changes from losing weight on a SAD diet. I agree with the above - if you're still feeling good, roll with it. Your body and metabolism likely love this WOE. I know mine does!0 -

Mine was pretty rapid to start with at 1.8-2.5kg per week, I didn't feel like it was too fast. It is more like 3kg a month now which seems dreadfully slow at times!0

At 1500 calories it was only a 1lost a week, now at 1200 its 3lbs a week. total lost is only about 4.5 but, I think my fingers are looking thin again. I see a little bit of changes in my face as well. I find walking out side is my best exercise although I have to use a cane to walk I get about a one hour walk in on a good day. Next, I try my best to get 64 ounces of water in per day. Now, I must remember to take my vitamins and kick my cravings for ice cream. Today, I think I realize its more of a needing to munch than want for ice cream. So, I to me some sugar free ice cream that has a chocolate outside it gives me the crunch and I only get 14 carbs verse the 64 from a Mcdonalds sundae. I can say now I can make better choices for me .0
