Thanks for setting up individual days, it really helps and is a great reminder every morning to start tracking!0

yes I agree, it's great to know every day counts and a bunch of people are working on it with me.0

Had a really great day. Drove out to the East End of Long Island, had a late seafood brunch and chose something healthy off the menu (the fish and chips were calling...but I ignored them...). Was able to stay under my calorie goal despite having gelato. Bringing healthy snacks for the car definitely helped. I LOVE sugar snap peas. Sweet, crunchy and low in calories. Delicious.0

At least I tracked. I was 600 calories over my goal. Tomorrow is going to be another challenging day. I don't know why it's so hard to eat well at parties. It's not like I don't have a lot to choose from. Any tips?0

It's so good that you tracked even though you went over. I find that to be a huge challenge...to track regardless of what happens. And it really does make a difference.
I know in Weight Watchers you get a certain number of "extra" points each week. So I think going over once in a while should be ok anyway. It's the long term that counts.
Parties are tough! There's always so much good food around. Best I can think of is to try to be really mindful of what you're eating rather than eating automatically. Also, I've found it helpful to eat something before going to a party. Like when you go grocery shopping, it isn't good to go when you are really, really hungry.0 -
I find tracking is the greatest tool after 3pm. 1see how many calories I have left and make my decisions on that. I got a regular coffee at McD's a few weeks back, first time in over a year I had been to fast food drive through. I noticed the calories posted on everything, tracking is a lot like that for me.0

I find tracking hardest after 3pm, so I'm glad this group is keeping me honest!0
