Any of you that use Fitbit, do you set it to negative calculations? I do, because I want a true measure of my activity, but it discouraging to lose 150 calories as soon as my day starts. And days I am not active, like today, I have lost 200 calories so far. So, when i go out for my jog, which typically burns around 350 calories, I only get credit for half of it.

I just got mine last weekend, but I don't have mine set that way. At the same time, though, I don't pay attention to adding back more calories than I actually burn in intentional exercise, regardless of what it's trying to tell MFP.

I burned 521 calories when i went out, but MFP only gave me 331 extra calories because I was in the negative when i started. I don't like to eat the extra either...I try to stay under my original daily goal.
