Hello, I'm new to the forums. I've off and on used MFP, but decided it's time to finally get serious about losing weight. I'm having a late 21st birthday celebration with some friends tonight (spent my actual birthday at my grandpa's funeral.) I told myself I'm not allowed to take cheat days, because I'm the past when I have, I binge, feel really guilty, and then return to my old eating habits. I want some ideas from yall on how you've celebrated but in moderation.

Your profile says you are 24 years old. If you missed your 21st birthday celebration 3 years ago, then it is time to just not do it.

I must have scrolled too far when I made my account. It was a week ago, I was born in 94.

Go out and dance, see a movie, have a nice sit down dinner. Budget the calories ahead.

I save carbs and calories from the rest of the month, especially the week before, for my favorite type of cake.
ETA: I'm sorry about your loss. That must have made it hard to do anything else! :flowerforyou:
