Yesterday I had 3 years of abstinence out of relapse :) YaY me! I will be going to a meeting Thursday to take a candle and demand singing in my honor.

MFP is a tool that helped me achieve a healthy body weight. I was not able to track my food for the first several years in program, but I have been able to use this tool for 2 and a half years now, and I'm going to continue to use it as long as I am able to. Even when it sucks, I'll do it because I can.

Congratulations! I started using MFP this past November as my food tool (my food plan is largely the same as when I came into program) and, what do you know? I lost the 25 pounds I had gained when I was just figuring out quantities on my own. MFP helps me to be honest, it helps me to know there are limits and what a real, human portion is, as opposed to what my compulsive overeater brain tells me!
